Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) seems poised to ruin the baby gender reveal party. Will Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara Brady Weston’s (Victoria Konefal) cake bring a horrifying surprise?
DOOL fans know Ciara and Ben turned to Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) and Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) for help with an important task.
Ben and Ciara are ready to find out their baby’s gender, so they’ve entrusted Chanel and Allie with the contents of the sonogram envelope.
The goal is for Ciara and Ben to learn whether they’re having a boy or girl, so there’s supposed to be blue or pink cake when they cut into it.
However, possessed Johnny noticed that Allie had the envelope he previously opened.
The wheels started turning, so Johnny may use this as an opportunity to create more chaos – especially since this event centers around the baby he’s after.
Of course, this could also serve as a way to stir up some conflict between Allie and Chanel.
Days spoilers say Johnny will indeed try to create problems for Chanel and Allie soon, so he’ll work to destroy their new relationship.
There could be a lot of little fires that add up to disaster.
What does that mean for the baby gender reveal party?
Since red is the devil’s favorite color, perhaps the cake will be a horrifying shade of deep red instead of a soft pink or blue.
This could lead to Chanel and Allie fighting over how much food coloring was used or something along those lines.
If Days takes this route, you could argue it’s more likely that the baby is a girl.
It’d be easier to explain how a pink cake went too far into red territory, even though it’d really be Johnny’s transformation.
On the other hand, there’s a chance Johnny will mess with the baby gender reveal party another way.
Johnny might transform the inside of the cake to reveal the opposite gender – meaning NOT what’s in the envelope.
That could bring embarrassment if Chanel and Allie have to admit the cake isn’t the color it’s supposed to be.
It’d defeat the entire purpose of the cake, so Allie and Chanel might point fingers at each other and have a huge fight over it.
Nevertheless, the idea of a creepy red cake sounds more like the devil’s style – not to mention it could eventually leave Ben and Ciara fearing that the devil’s still in Salem after all.
Regardless, Johnny is probably going to mess with what’s inside that cake and cause some baby gender reveal party mayhem.
