Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) will accuse Craig Wesley (Kevin Spirtas) of killing Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) and stabbing Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker). Leo will fear his ex has gone off the deep end, so he’ll make some accusations that Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) finds hard to believe.
During the week of September 19-23, Leo will feel like he has nowhere to turn.
Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) isn’t too happy with Leo right now since he betrayed her, but he’ll hope she’s willing to forgive and help him anyway.
Gwen will eventually relent on hearing Leo out as he works through a new theory.
Days spoilers say Leo will mull over who’d have a motive to frame him and settle on Craig.
Although Leo always thought Craig was a good guy, he’ll worry that his con drama broke something inside his ex-fiancé.
Leo will become increasingly convinced Craig has completely lost it and that he’s behind Abigail’s murder as well as Sonny’s stabbing.
Since Craig will show back up in Salem out of the blue, it’ll only add to Leo’s belief that his former flame is guilty.
Gwen will doubt it at first, but she’ll ultimately decide Leo might be right and argue that they need to get the cops involved.
It turns out Gwen will take the decision out of Leo’s hands when she texts Rafe his location. That’ll leave Leo feeling like the betrayed one this time around.
Leo will be hauled off in handcuffs, but he’ll beg Rafe to take a closer look at Craig.
Rafe will feel like Leo is just trying anything to save himself, so he won’t have much of a reaction to this new killer theory.
As for Craig, he’ll wind up paying Leo a visit while he’s behind bars.
Craig will insist he feels partly responsible for Leo going off the rails and potentially harming innocent people.
Leo, on the other hand, will think Craig is just playing some sort of twisted mind game now.
There’ll be some tense moments, but Days wouldn’t give Craig away as the murderer before DOOL’s big reveal.
The fact that Leo will point the finger at Craig suggests he’ll be the last red herring before the actual killer is exposed.
Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) will take the lead on making that discovery and exposure later.
Clyde Weston (James Read) still seems like the most logical culprit, but it’ll be fun to see Leo speculate about Craig’s murderous side in the meantime.
