Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) and Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) will attack each other with murder accusations, so Abigail DiMera’s (Marci Miller) corpse will bring some finger pointing. Let’s talk about what’s coming up as this Days murder mystery kicks off.
DOOL viewers know Gwen has refused to say for sure whether she killed Laura Horton (Jaime Lyn Bauer) on purpose.
Gwen has gone back and forth on her innocence, so Leo wanted her to spill whether she actually committed the deadly crime.
Although Gwen left that up in the air, Leo pointed out that murder should be off the table for their revenge on Abigail.
That’s why Leo will freak once Abigail turns up dead and will immediately pay Gwen another visit in prison.
Gwen may remind Leo that she’s been stuck behind bars and couldn’t possibly have killed Abigail, but he may argue that she could’ve hired someone else for the job.
We should note that Gwen will indeed make a rather troubling phone call beforehand – one that presumably makes it sound like she’s ordering a hit.
However, Gwen will no doubt fire back that Leo’s the one who came to her looking for revenge help.
Leo will also hide out in the secret room before Abigail’s death, so Gwen will accuse him of being the one to kill Abigail instead.
Of course, it seems far too easy for Gwen or Leo to be the answer to this looming murder mystery.
They’re the first people who come to mind as having motives – not to mention they’ll be accusing each other.
Leo will clearly be in panic mode at the thought of going down for something he didn’t do, so that pretty much rules him out.
As for Gwen, Days surely won’t make it as simple as her hiring a hit on Abigail.
That’s not much of a whodunit! Besides, Gwen is probably too broke to make something like that happen.
Regardless, Gwen and Leo will point the finger at each other in some fun scenes, so that should bring some levity amidst the somber ones that’ll follow Abigail’s demise.
