Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) may dump Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) over Stefan DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) revival and see that he can’t compete with true love.
DOOL fans are already starting to see some cracks in Li and Gabi’s relationship.
On the July 25 episode, Gabi was suspicious of Li’s “I love you” exchange over the phone, which he ultimately assured her was with his mom.
That led to Gabi realizing Li had never really talked about his mother before.
It also caused Gabi to see that there was a lot she didn’t know about Li, so the show’s creating some emotional distance here.
Plus, Li still seems a bit worried about whether Gabi might be hung up on Jake.
Although Gabi may be putting Jake in the rearview mirror, can she say the same for Stefan?
Gabi adored her dead husband and would probably still be happily married to Stefan if death hadn’t severed their connection.
It turns out Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) may be on the verge of reviving Stefan – at least in a way.
We know Dr. Rolf has a shocking new project that’ll play out after Jake gets shot and supposedly dies.
It makes sense that Dr. Rolf might use the viable parts of Jake to transform him into Stefan.
As Stefan’s twin, Jake has the prime body to pick up where Stefan left off.
Dr. Rolf can plant Stefan’s memories into Jake’s brain and essentially turn Jake into Stefan.
Of course, that could be a game-changer for Gabi and make her want to reunite with some version of the love of her life.
Days spoilers suggest things could get complicated when it comes to Stefan’s romantic desires and Dr. Rolf’s manipulation in the months ahead.
However, it’s easy to imagine Gabi having a strong reaction to Stefan’s comeback – causing Li to once again doubt whether his romance with Gabi can work.
Days spoilers say Li will also catch Gabi lying to him during the week of August 1-5, so there’ll already be growing problems between them.
This whole Stefan situation may be the last straw that breaks Gabi and Li up.
Will Li dump Gabi after Dr. Rolf brings back Jake as Stefan?
Whether Li walks away in anger or simply sets Gabi free, he may decide a breakup is for the best.
