Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) is keeping a huge Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) secret. It turns out Li is funding Dr. Wilhelm Rolf’s (Richard Wharton) resurrection project and has known about Stefan’s survival all along.
Dr. Rolf tried to act like the machines preserving Stefan’s body could take care of everything on their own.
Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) was skeptical, but Dr. Rolf acted like there was no need to watch over Stefan while he was in prison.
Of course, Dr. Rolf didn’t mention the fact that he had a secret partner on this endeavor.
According to Days spoilers for the week of August 8-12, Li offered the financial backing for this resurrection and has been monitoring Stefan’s progress along the way.
Now that there’s something new to report, Dr. Rolf will get a visit from Li in the lab.
Days spoilers say Dr. Rolf will explain the heart transplant situation and how he hopes Jake DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) ticker will be the ideal match for Stefan.
It looks like Li will be quite excited about Dr. Rolf’s miraculous medical victory.
DOOL spoilers say Li will give Dr. Rolf props for what he’s achieved as they wait for Stefan to awaken.
However, we have to acknowledge that Li is keeping Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) in the dark on something massive.
Li knows how much Gabi adored Stefan, but she thinks he’s been cremated and placed in the DiMera crypt.
Sooner or later, Gabi will find out Li hid Stefan’s sort-of survival from her.
Although Stefan wasn’t fully alive without a heart, this still seems like something Gabi deserved to know.
Li may argue that he didn’t want to get Gabi’s hopes up, but what happens once Stefan rises from the dead?
Stefan was the love of Gabi’s life, so she’s obviously going to be drawn to him.
Nevertheless, things could get complicated due to Kristen’s involvement.
We’ve heard rumblings about Stefan perhaps chasing after Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) due to a love potion or some other type of manipulation.
That could add to the drama of this messy situation for Gabi, who’s sure to be floored by Stefan’s comeback and Li’s knowledge of the resurrection process.
