Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) may get her redemption by saving Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman). This grandma could form a fierce plan to stop the devil once and for all, so let’s talk about what’s in store.
Marlena feels terrible about all the pain she caused while she was possessed and wants to make things right somehow.
Of course, DOOL fans know there’s really no need for Marlena’s guilt. So far, Marlena’s loved ones have been understanding about the situation since none of this was Marlena’s fault.
Marlena keeps apologizing, but was the devil’s victim more so than anyone.
Of course, Marlena was also a hero for saving Doug Williams’ (Bill Hayes) life and inviting the devil into her instead.
Still, it’s easy to see why Marlena would feel responsible on some level.
Even though Marlena isn’t to blame, it was her mind and body carrying out the devil’s reign of terror.
Marlena feels like she needs some redemption, so Days spoilers say she might find a path to that by figuring out the devil’s new plan and coming to Johnny’s rescue.
This is personal for Marlena since Johnny is her grandson, so she’d have even more of a motive to finally stop the devil in his tracks!
Just like when Marlena was first possessed, Johnny is battling bouts of confusion and struggling to understand what’s happening to him.
The devil isn’t in full control yet, so there might still be a chance to stop the devil without the need for an exorcism.
Marlena may be able to take a stand against the devil and cast him out somehow, especially with a little help from Gabriel (Mark Colson).
There might be some secret weapon Marlena could use against the devil – much like the medal that Gabriel gave John.
On the other hand, Days spoilers say Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) will return to Salem down the road.
Maybe Marlena could be the one to summon Eric for another exorcism and come to Johnny’s rescue in a different way.
Regardless, Marlena will hope she can redeem herself and ultimately save Johnny.
Once Marlena learns what’s going on, her priority will be rescuing her grandson and stopping the devil from taking over anyone else!
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Marlena will no doubt do whatever it takes to help Johnny.
