Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Monday, April 18, reveals that Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) and Rafe Hernandez’s (Galen Gering) romance shocked Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) while Clyde Weston (James Read) and Nancy Wesley (Patrika Darbo) made a dating app connection. Here’s how all the DOOL drama went down.
At the pub on Monday’s Days episode, Nicole wondered if Eric had left the priesthood since he wasn’t wearing his usual attire.
Eric explained why he didn’t have to wear it all the time and suggested he wanted to come home for a visit that was less intense.
After they reflected on Marlena Evans’ (Deidre Hall) exorcism ordeal, Eric mentioned missing everyone – including Nicole.
Once Nicole confirmed that she was no longer dating EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel), she surprised Eric by admitting she was with Rafe now.
Clyde interrupted after emerging from the kitchen, so Eric and Nicole were surprised to learn Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) hired him.
However, Clyde maintained that he was just after his shot at redemption and thought Eric believed in those like Roman did.
Once they were alone again, Nicole shared how she ended up with Rafe.
Eric thought Rafe was a good man and figured there was nothing standing in the way of Nicole’s happily ever after now that Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) had been arrested.
Nicole wasn’t as sure about the concept of happily ever after, but she confirmed to Eric that she was happy in the present.
Eric assured Nicole that was all he wanted for her, so they stared at each other intensely before Nicole headed out.
At the Kiriakis mansion, Bonnie Lockhart (Judi Evans) didn’t like the idea of Nancy attending Craig Wesley’s (Kevin Spirtas) wedding.
Nancy wanted to go, but she hated the thought of all the guests looking at her with pity.
Bonnie decided they should get Nancy a hot date and helped set up an online dating profile.
Bonnie took Nancy’s picture and explained how the swiping system worked before Nancy found a match.
Back with Clyde, he smiled over that same match with Nancy on his phone.
In the town square, Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) confronted Craig over the prenup before learning Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) was behind it.
Chloe took credit for sending it and offered a pen to sign since Leo was so adamant that his love was real.
Craig stunned Leo by suggesting he should sign and put Chloe’s suspicions to rest.
Leo finally caved in and signed, but he wasn’t happy about it. Chloe was taken aback over Leo’s move, so she decided to give Craig and Leo her blessing.
After Chloe embraced Craig, she gave Leo a quick hug as well – though she rolled her eyes.
Chloe then rushed off to give Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) the paperwork while Leo sulked.
At the bistro on Monday’s Days episode, Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) was shocked to learn Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) was friends with Leo and having a double wedding with him.
Gabi also reeled over Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) being Gwen’s matron of honor.
Then, it was Gabi’s turn to shock Gwen by revealing Ava’s arrest. It clearly left Gwen nervous that Ava would drag her down with her.
At the police station, Abigail showed up and learned Ava wanted to bargain.
Ava vowed to reveal who assaulted her before she was shipped off to the remote island, but she wanted to cut a deal first.
After talking with DA Melinda Trask (Tina Huang), Abigail returned and argued that there was no deal.
Trask pointed out that Ava was a much bigger fish, so Ava pointed out her accomplice had committed other crimes.
Abigail was tired of all the games and threatened to leave, so Ava admitted she was talking about Gwen.
Ava was willing to sing like a canary just as soon as she was granted immunity, so Abigail decided to try again with Trask.
When Gwen showed up at the Salem PD wearing a less-than-effective disguise, Abigail noticed and called out her name.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Abigail will help destroy Gwen’s life soon – and Gwen will deserve it considering all the terrible things she’s done!
