Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Monday, December 19, tease that Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) will have another crisis on his hands. Xander’s recent kidnapping mess will once again come back to bite him, so he’ll land in a new jam and send out an SOS call to Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) with bad news.
Gwen has become a master manipulator when it comes to covering up Xander’s crimes, so she’ll brainstorm another way to get him off the hook.
Of course, tangled webs of deception rarely work out well – especially for Xander – so Gwen will only be digging a bigger hole for him.
Nevertheless, Days spoilers say Xander will rely on Gwen’s help and hope to keep Bonnie Kiriakis (Judi Evans) in the dark on the “musclebound clown” truth.
In the meantime, John Black (Drake Hogestyn) will hope he’s done enough to convince Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) that she can trust him.
Although John will try to pry an admission out of Kristen, she may come to her senses and realize she can’t reveal her blackmail scheme.
Brady Black (Eric Martsolf), on the other hand, couldn’t keep everything bottled up anymore, so he just confessed Kristen’s hold on him.
Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) now knows Brady was blackmailed into moving Kristen in the townhouse and breaking up with Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin).
What Eric doesn’t have yet are the details, so he’ll push for updates on those in Monday’s DOOL episode.
Days spoilers say Brady will eventually admit the orchid situation and how Marlena Evans’ (Deidre Hall) life depends on that cure.
Marlena, Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) and Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow) will all need boosters soon, so Brady will be determined to keep Kristen appeased – even if he hates being bullied into submission.
At the church, Days spoilers say the explosion aftermath will bring chaos and many victims.
Marlena and Tripp should have some minor injuries, but they’ll get treatment at the hospital before long.
Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) and EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) may be banged up as well, but the emotional trauma will bring some close moments.
Ava Vitali will face Tripp’s fury over the bomb scheme, but she’ll pay an even steeper price as her condition deteriorates later. It’s clear that this explosion didn’t go according to plan at all!
