Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Monday, July 25, reveals that Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) surrendered to Kristen DiMera’s (Stacy Haiduk) demand while Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) found a Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) robbery in progress. Here’s how all the Days drama played out.
Outside the pub, Eric was just about to head for a run when he startled Brady Black (Eric Martsolf), who was on the phone beefing up security because of Kristen’s freedom.
While Brady worried about Kristen’s next move, she woke up in Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) and Ava Vitali’s (Tamara Braun) bed.
Ava and Jake were on the crummy air mattress, so they were clearly annoyed with their new roommate.
Kristen pushed Jake’s buttons over Gabi and mentioned her plan to collect on a favor she was owed.
Once Kristen was gone, Jake thought maybe he should warn Gabi and left Ava concerned that perhaps he wasn’t over her.
However, Jake assured Ava that although their relationship started as a way to stick it to Gabi, it had grown into something more.
Ava and Jake confirmed that they were falling for each other as they related to feeling like consolation prizes in relationships before now.
In Li Shin’s (Remington Hoffman) hotel suite, Gabi woke up and overheard him expressing his love to someone over the phone.
Although Gabi seemed jealous as she questioned him, Li clarified that it was just his mother.
Since Li hadn’t really talked about his mom much, Gabi determined there were a lot of things about Li that she didn’t know yet.
Talk turned to Jake on Monday’s DOOL episode, but Gabi got passionate with Li to confirm she wasn’t stuck on her ex.
When Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) appeared in the town square, she caught up with Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans).
Steve talked about Jada’s father being his old friend and was glad to hear Jada had already started work at the Salem PD.
Jada mentioned working on Abigail DiMera’s (Marci Miller) case and noted that Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) was a person of interest.
When Jada brought up needing access to Sarah’s medical records, Kayla pointed out it was an invasion of privacy.
Things were tense as Jada insisted there could be exceptions for law enforcement, so Steve tried to ease that tension and suggested breakfast at the pub.
Meanwhile, Eric caught a shady guy trying to steal money from the pub’s tip jar.
After stopping the man and scolding him, Eric offered help if he was that hard up for cash.
The guy ultimately ran out the door right as Jada arrived with Steve and Kayla.
Jada met Brady along with Eric, who was asked about his career. Eric admitted to being between jobs now that he was no longer a priest.
Jada also needed a more permanent place to stay since she Salem Inn was too expensive on a cop’s salary.
Eric revealed that Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) had affordable rooms upstairs to rent, so Jada said she’d keep that option in mind.
Before Jada parted ways with Kayla and Steve, she let them know that she only wanted to get justice for Abigail.
At Basic Black, Nicole complained about Brady not being at the office yet since she flew out of New York at dawn.
Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) realized that Nicole hadn’t heard the news about Kristen’s pardon and filled her in.
Later, Nicole wound up in the park, where the shady guy from the pub earlier pulled a gun on her and demanded her purse.
Eric showed hoping to calm the situation, but the thug grabbed Nicole and held his gun to her side.
At DiMera Enterprises, Gabi and Li found Kristen sitting in the CEO chair.
Kristen admitted she wasn’t after Gabi’s position, but she expected her cooperation due to her support at the DiMera board vote.
After Gabi surrendered to Kristen’s demand offscreen, she told Li that Kristen was someone else’s headache now.
Kristen then made her way to Basic Black, where she stunned Chloe and Brady by revealing she was their new boss.
Back in the town square on Monday’s Days episode, Jake hinted about heading to the jewelry store and suggested Ava might be the love of his life.
A stunned Ava wondered if Jake was asking her to marry him.
