Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Monday, June 13, reveals that Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (William Utay) couldn’t save Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller), so Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) faced a tragic farewell to his wife’s corpse.
Outside the DiMera mansion on Monday’s Days episode, Belle Brady (Martha Madison) wanted to forget about her problems and pushed EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) to make love to her.
EJ didn’t want to take advantage, but Belle insisted this is what she wanted.
At the townhouse on Monday’s Days episode, Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) told Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) and Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) that she thought something was going on between EJ and Belle.
Talk eventually turned to which twin Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) would end up with, so Johnny hoped Susan could use her psychic abilities.
Chanel tried to make a prediction while holding a cupcake from Sweet Bits, but she became unsettled over something she envisioned.
Back at the DiMera manse, Chad became frantic over Abigail’s condition and tried to stop the bleeding while calling for an ambulance.
Abigail came to briefly, so she reminded Chad about the kids and said “they” had a knife.
EJ and Belle were on their way to a nearby bedroom when they heard Chad cry for help.
After Belle and EJ walked in on the horrifying scene, Chad pushed them to go make sure the kids were OK.
Later, Belle showed up at the townhouse with the news of Abigail’s stabbing, so Johnny went running to the hospital.
Marlena approved of Thomas DiMera (Cary Christopher) and Charlotte DiMera (Autumn Gendron) staying there with the nanny.
In Tripp Johnson’s (Lucas Adams) hospital room, he learned he’d be released from the hospital tomorrow – though he revealed he wasn’t going home with Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans).
Since Tripp couldn’t go back to work yet due to his continued recovery, he opted to spend some time with Joey Johnson (Tanner Stine) and Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) in Seattle.
This whole ordeal had made Tripp see the importance of family and how you can’t put things off until later.
Meanwhile, Chanel and Allie shared some close moments before Tripp called them both over to the hospital.
Once Tripp finished giving updates to Steve and Kayla, it was Allie and Chanel’s turn to find out about his Seattle decision.
In a moment alone, Allie feared Tripp was leaving because of her, but he worked to assure that this was the right move for him in general.
As for Kayla, she helped out in the ER since a stabbing victim was coming in.
Kayla eventually learned it was Abigail and worked on the team that tried to save her, but she didn’t make it.
When Kayla told Chad that Abigail died, he was in denial and acted like Dr. Rolf could fix this.
However, Kayla argued that Abigail had lost too much blood and was too far gone.
EJ tried to comfort Chad, who wanted to see Abigail’s body alone.
That left EJ to fill Johnny in, so Johnny was still pretty broken up when Chanel found him. After Johnny explained the Abigail situation, Chanel pulled him into a hug.
Kayla also returned to Tripp’s hospital room and cried to Steve about Abigail’s death, so the crushing news continued to spread.
Right after Susan felt a chill, EJ returned to the townhouse to reveal that Abigail didn’t pull through.
Susan embraced Marlena while EJ and Belle consoled each other nearby.
Back at the hospital on Monday’s DOOL episode, Chad sat by Abigail’s corpse and sobbed that he’d love her forever.
Abigail was Chad’s whole life, so he cried out wondering why this had to happen.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Chad will face a long road of grief, so stay tuned for more DOOL drama.
