Days of Our Lives spoilers recap reveals that on Monday, June 27, Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) broke down during a chat with Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow). Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) discovered Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) had lunch with Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan). Plus, Eric is too late as he discovers Nicole and Rafe already got married.
Chad DiMera’s Grief
DOOL spoilers reveal that on Monday, June 27, Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) and John Black (Drake Hogestyn) try to help Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) with his grief.
Chad told the children about Abigail DiMera’s (Marci Miller) death. Marlena tries to share words of wisdom, but it doesn’t make Chad feel any better.
Chad tells Marlena that Thomas DiMera (Cary Christopher) understood death. However, Charlotte DiMera (Olivia and Oakley Rondou) still thinks her mom is coming home.
While Marlena goes to tend to the children, John is able to share his story about Isabella Toscano Black (Staci Greason).
Eventually, Marlena reappears and tells Chad how the kids are doing. Thomas seems to be focused on his toys.
However, Charlotte insists that Abigail is going to come home one day. John and Marlena invite Chad and the children to stay with them for a while, an offer that is accepted.
DOOL Spoilers: Lucas Horton Snaps
On Monday, June 27, Kate shows up to talk to Lucas, who informs her that Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) is back in town.
When Lucas explains that Sami is at the DiMera mansion getting divorce papers signed, Kate freaks out.
Kate thinks it’s a horrible idea that EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) might convince Sami that he’s innocent, which could lead to Lucas being exposed.
Then, Kate balks at Lucas not being able to stop a woman on crutches from leaving the room. Lucas reminds Kate that Sami would use those crutches as a weapon.
Throughout the conversation, Lucas starts to completely break down emotionally.
Shaking and sweaty, Lucas announces he’s proposing to Sami. Kate thinks it’s bad timing because of all the stress Lucas is under.
Lucas insists that marrying Sami will make everything right in the world again.
Sami Brady Suspicious
Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that in the episode on Monday, June 27, Sami questions why Belle Brady (Martha Madison) at with EJ at the house. EJ and Belle offer a lot of half-truths.
The conversation turns to Abigail’s murder and Belle was there at that time.
When Sami questions this, Belle and EJ talk about Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) living with Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer).
Belle adds that she can’t stay with Marlena because she is now Jan’s therapist. Sami seems suspicious but moves on by whipping out the divorce papers.
EJ tries to avoid signing the paperwork. EJ isn’t able to change Sami’s mind and she insists on marrying Lucas.
Once Sami leaves with the signed divorce papers, EJ tries to get Belle upstairs. However, she slams the brakes after witnessing the exchange with Sami.
Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Courthouse Wedding
At the police station, Rafe and Nicole talk about Abigail’s murder. Rafe is frustrated that he can’t find any clues or hone in on a suspect.
Then, Rafe learns that Nicole attended Abe Carver (James Reynolds) and Paulina Price’s (Jackee Harry) impromptu wedding.
The conversation switches to Lani Price-Grant’s (Sal Stowers) confession.
Then, Rafe finds out that Nicole dined with Kate, Roman Brady (Josh Taylor), and Eric.
When Rafe mentions the wedding, Nicole says they don’t have to rush into anything. Of course, Rafe assumes this is all about Eric.
Roman Brady Pushes
While Nicole is trying to do damage control with Rafe, Roman pushes Eric to talk about his feelings for Nicole. Eric says that it’s too late. Roman tells Eric that Nicole isn’t married yet, so he still has a chance.
Eric decides to show up at Nicole’s door. However, he is devastated to learn that Rafe and Nicole just came from the courthouse and are already married.
