Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Monday, March 14, reveals that Belle Brady’s (Martha Madison) glowing devil eyes alarmed Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) while Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) found Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) unconscious. Let’s talk about how all Monday’s DOOL drama played out.
At home, Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) confessed to spending time with TR Coates (William Christian) last night.
Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) understood Lani’s desire to know more about her biological father, but he didn’t trust TR and intended to use the ISA to dig for answers.
In the town square, TR caught up with Chanel and Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) while they were working at Sweet Bits.
Chanel and Allie once again refused to be in the possession movie, but TR reminded them of their contracts.
After Chanel pointed out that Lani wouldn’t like TR bossing her around, TR suggested he’d let them out of the contracts if Johnny agreed to recast the roles.
Chanel had grown to like getting in Johnny’s face lately, so she assured Allie that she would go talk to him.
At the DiMera mansion, Will Horton (Chandler Massey) showed up angry and mentioned some of Johnny’s bad behavior lately.
Johnny insulted Will based on his own past, but Will mainly wanted to talk about Marlena and her job being in jeopardy.
Although Johnny acted like this was beyond his control, Will thought that Johnny could do a rewrite and take the possession out.
Johnny insisted that was ridiculous, so Will put his brother on full blast before leaving in a huff.
Later, Will found Allie in the town square and met Chanel before she took off for the DiMera mansion.
Once Allie was alone with Will, she filled him in on Johnny derailing her engagement – though she took responsibility for her own part in it, too.
Allie admitted to sleeping with Chanel and questioned whether she might be gay, so Will seemed ready to listen.
At the townhouse on Monday’s Days episode, Marlena looked at an article about her scandal online.
When Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) showed up, he insisted that the devil still seemed to be in Salem.
Ben joined Marlena on the sofa, where he explained the initial suspicions about Johnny being possessed.
After Ben admitted Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) was pointing the finger at Belle instead, Marlena became concerned for her daughter.
At the pub, Susan grabbed Belle’s coat to look for the 666 on the back.
Once Susan got caught, she explained to Belle and Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) what she was up to.
Susan was adamant about the devil being inside Belle, but Shawn thought he would know if Belle were acting off.
However, Susan felt that the devil wouldn’t tip his hand this time around – not when he was on a mission to get Ben and Ciara Brady Weston’s (Victoria Konefal) baby.
Susan held her cross on Belle before eventually heading over to Marlena’s place.
That’s where Susan repeated all her Belle fears and got Marlena on board with helping her.
As for Belle, she recalled how Susan felt the devil’s presence at the DiMera mansion.
Belle decided to speak with Johnny and see what she could figure out.
Meanwhile, Chanel showed up to talk to Johnny about recasting her movie role as well as Allie’s.
Johnny fought the idea initially, but he was willing to let them out of their contracts if Chanel dropped her lawsuit.
Belle interrupted, so Chanel took a break from her confrontation with Johnny and stepped away.
That gave Belle a chance to ask questions about Susan’s claims, but her expression turned to one of fear as she realized Johnny was the devil.
Belle tried to take off, but Johnny grabbed her wrist and kept her there. Soon after, Chanel was shocked to find Johnny unconscious on the floor.
Belle also answered the door to Marlena with glowing eyes, so that left Marlena unsettled.
At the police station, a woman named Beth Howard (Donielle Artese) showed up to see Eli.
Beth revealed that she was TR’s ex-girlfriend before discussing how he hadn’t changed a bit.
After Beth met TR last year, they dated for about six months.
Beth admitted that heroin was TR’s drug of choice and that he often grew violent while he was on it.
Beth said TR threatened to destroy her acting career if she ever reported anything.
Nevertheless, Beth was hospitalized at one point and photos were taken following the abuse.
Beth was willing to give a statement, so she stuck around and waited while Eli dashed off.
In the park on Monday’s Days episode, TR called Lani and hoped he could spend some time with her family soon.
Lani agreed to talk to Eli before TR hung up and met with a drug dealer named Frank (Michael Varde).
TR purchased heroin and gave Frank a huge tip, so Frank thought this could be the beginning of a beautiful friendship.
After Frank left, Eli showed up and caught TR off guard.
That led to TR dropping the heroin bag while Eli confronted him about Beth’s accusations.
When Eli spotted the heroin bag and picked it up, TR played dumb about where it came from.
Back at the police station, Lani was surprised to find Beth waiting in the interrogation room.
