Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Monday, May 9, reveals that Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) wants Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) dead. Baby Bo Weston was the devil’s earthly do-over, so here’s how all Monday’s DOOL action played out.
At the hospital, Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) told Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) the story of how TR Coates (William Christian) shot him after the drug drama in the park.
Once Lani realized TR was the same abusive drug addict he’d always been, she reeled over falling for her bio dad’s lies.
Lani pointed out that TR was with Paulina Price (Jackée Harry), but she couldn’t get her to answer the phone.
After Lani insisted on arresting TR herself, she raced out despite Eli’s protests.
Just before getting on the elevator, Lani ran into Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) and found out Abe Carver (James Reynolds) was on his way to reunite with Paulina.
Julia was confused when Lani seemed upset instead of overjoyed, so she gave Eli updates once she caught up with her newly awake grandson.
Eli revealed TR’s guilt to Julie as they both worried about Lani, Abe and Paulina landing in danger.
At Paulina’s apartment on Monday’s Days episode, TR argued that Abe was too late to win Paulina back and claimed he was already back together with her.
TR was eager to head off on his romantic getaway with Paulina, so he tried to slam the door on Abe.
After Abe managed to keep it open, he received a call from Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) and vowed to tell Paulina that Eli was out of his coma.
Once Abe forced his way inside, TR knocked him out with a baseball bat and pulled his unconscious body out of sight.
TR also discouraged Paulina from answering her phone once she appeared, but she eventually spotted bloody Abe on the floor.
Paulina freaked out and tried to call 911 on Monday’s Days episode, but TR ripped the phone away and prepared to strike her.
Suddenly, Lani burst in and saw Abe’s wounded body on the floor. TR said he could explain, but Lani simply fired her gun with a stern glare.
At the Horton cabin, Ciara wanted to help Ben get their baby back from possessed Allie.
Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) showed up and agreed with Ben about Ciara needing to be hospitalized since she’d just given birth.
Once Ciara was admitted and receiving fluids, she pushed Ben to go look for their baby without her.
In the DiMera crypt, Evan Frears aka Christian Maddox (Brock Kelly) got confirmation from Allie that it was OK for him to hide out there.
Possessed Allie also filled Evan in on being the “devil incarnate” and decided to reveal her plans for the baby in her arms.
Evan realized the child belonged to Ben and Ciara, whose part in all this was over as far as Allie was concerned.
Allie intended to use Baby Bo as her “earthly do-over” and inhabit a body with a soul too new to fight back.
After Allie gushed about spending a whole lifetime together with this little one, she urged Evan to kill Ben and Ciara.
Allie figured her plans would be easier with Ciara and Ben out of the way.
