Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Monday, November 21 Recap – Susan Escapes Death Only to Land Back in Ava’s Clutches – Rafe’s Clues

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Monday, November 21, reveals that Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) escaped death only to land back in Ava Vitali’s (Tamara Braun) clutches. Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) also got some clues about Bonnie Kiriakis’ (Judi Evans) captor, so here’s how all the DOOL drama went down.

At the Kiriakis mansion, Sarah Cook (Linsey Godfrey) brought Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) an anniversary present and an apology for bailing on the party. Maggie brought Sarah up to speed on missing Bonnie and how concerned she was about her.

Once Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) and Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) rescued Bonnie from the shed, she revealed she was held hostage after finding Susan – who was being held for ransom.

Bonnie was taken inside and given a drink to calm down, but she wasn’t keen on talking about what happened.

Nevertheless, Rafe showed up and stressed the importance of helping with the investigation for Susan’s sake.

Bonnie recalled her kidnapper wearing a clown mask and a blue suit, but she said his build was more like a strongman than a clown.

In Xander Cook’s (Paul Telfer) car, he was still wearing the clown mask as he drove Susan, who kept pestering him with questions.

Susan also mentioned her lucky hat and how nothing bad would happen as long as she had it.

In the crypt on Monday’s Days episode, Ava argued with a vision of Charlie Dale (Mike Manning), who urged her to make EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) truly pay by killing Susan.

Xander eventually brought Susan to the crypt and wanted to get the money so this whole scheme could be over.

However, Ava insisted there’d been a change of plans and that Xander would kill Susan while she collected the funds from EJ.

Xander objected, but Ava ripped his mask off to expose him to Susan, who recognized who he was.

Once Ava left, Susan begged for her life and promised not to tell anyone that Xander was involved if he spared her.

Xander couldn’t take that risk, so he prepared to kill Susan until she said a prayer for his soul.

Although Xander tried to pull the trigger, he couldn’t do it and ultimately let Susan go.

Back in his motel room, Xander was unsuccessful at washing off his guilt in the shower.

Sarah returned with the crazy Susan and Bonnie news, so Xander said he was sorry about this and had something to tell her.

At the DiMera mansion on Monday’s Days episode, EJ armed himself with a gun and assured Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) it was a last resort. By the time Rafe arrived to question EJ about Susan’s ordeal, he was already gone.

Next, EJ arrived at the airstrip and made sure Ava got an alert on her phone about the wired $30 million. Ava then revealed that Susan was already dead, so EJ whipped out his gun and prepared to shoot her.

Since Ava felt she won the war, she didn’t care whether EJ killed her at that point. Before EJ could pump a bullet in Ava, Susan ran in between them and urged EJ not to shoot.

Ava was furious over Susan’s freedom and pulled out her own gun, which she promptly aimed at Susan’s head.

After Ava stashed Susan in the back of her car, she sped down the road with EJ chasing in a car not far behind.

Susan wanted to go back for the lucky hat she dropped, but Ava pushed her to shut up. As for the lucky hat, Rafe found it on the ground when he showed up at the airstrip.

Back in Ava’s car, Charlie appeared in the passenger side and pointed out that EJ would catch up with Ava soon.

The DiMeras would hunt Ava to the ends of the earth, so Charlie felt there was only one way to finish this and make EJ suffer.

Ava decided Charlie was right and veered off the road – leaving EJ alarmed he watched the spinout from his own vehicle.

Days of Our Lives spoilers say EJ will have to witness Ava’s car exploding soon enough, so stick with DOOL! CDL’s the place to be for thrilling Days of Our Lives spoilers, news and updates, so check back often.
