Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Monday, November 28 Recap – Gwen’s Fake Website Saves Xander – EJ Unconscious After Ava Struggle

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Monday, November 28, reveals that Gwen Rizczech’s (Emily O’Brien) fake website saved Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) while EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) wound up unconscious after a struggle with Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun).

At the Horton house on Monday’s Days episode, Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) came home from New York early, so Gwen shut her laptop quickly to hide what she was working on.

When Jack voiced his suspicions, he got updates on Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) pushing Gwen to bury the story about Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) and Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens).

Gwen explained that her main source was dodgy Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty) and worried since Chad said they’d be open to a libel suit if they didn’t fact-check every word.

Jack appreciated how Gwen wanted to make the most ethically sound decision and how determined she was to be a good reporter.

That made Jack feel like he made the right choice by not hiring Xander, so he filled Gwen in on how Xander came to him for a job.

Gwen admitted she’d become friendly with Xander and insisted she just wanted him to be happy.

Jack was proud of Gwen and urged her to call him dad again, so she got emotional. Jack also suggested that after he unpacked, he’d help Gwen go over the material that Sloan sent.

In their motel room, Sarah Cook (Linsey Godfrey) asked Xander if he kidnapped Bonnie Kiriakis (Judi Evans) and Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk), so he acted shocked that she’d think such a thing.

After Sarah went over how all the clues added up, Xander said he was so hurt since she no longer seemed to think he was a changed man.

Sarah hinted about looking up Rednax Pharmaceuticals online, so Xander said to go ahead if she didn’t believe him.

Xander was nervous as Sarah searched, but she actually found the website and left him stunned.

There was even a job posting for the position Xander supposedly just left, so Sarah felt terrible for accusing him.

Xander assured Sarah that he didn’t blame her for being suspicious considering the life he’d led and wanted to just forget about it.

Once Xander stepped in the hallway, he called Gwen to explain what just went down.

Gwen confessed she built the website for Xander, so he was amazed and said she saved his life.

However, Gwen insisted there was no need to thank her and added that’s what friends are for.

Meanwhile, Chad also came home early from New York and found out from Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) that EJ ordered Tripp Johnson’s (Lucas Adams) kidnapping.

Since EJ saved Chad from Clyde Weston (James Read) and just lost his mother, Chad didn’t intend to pile on and agreed not to tell Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) anything.

Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) eventually called Tony with news about EJ drowning his sorrows near the crash site, so the brothers took off to find him.

By the mangled guardrail, EJ once again called out for his mother since he heard rustling leaves and twigs snapping.

When Ava appeared with a gun, EJ insisted she was dead.

Ava pretended she might just be EJ’s conscience, but he informed her that he didn’t have one. That meant Ava must’ve made it out of the crash alive, so EJ wondered if Susan might be alive, too.

Ava assured EJ that although she jumped out of the car before it rolled into the embankment, Susan was definitely in there when it blew up.

Now Ava warned that it was EJ’s turn to die, but he dove for the gun and a shot was seemingly fired in the struggle.

Later, EJ was unconscious after hitting his head, but he came to as Chad and Tony arrived.

They wanted to get EJ to a hospital and were skeptical of his claims about Ava being there.

Tony questioned why Ava wouldn’t have finished EJ off, but EJ didn’t have an answer for that.

Although EJ wanted to find Ava, Chad and Tony led him away for medical attention instead.

Nearby on Monday’s DOOL episode, Days fans could see a bullet casing that was left on the ground.

At the Kiriakis mansion, Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) continued his make-out session with Stephanie and suggested there were rooms with beds they could go to. Stephanie smiled as she teased Alex about being subtle.

Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) interrupted, so that gave her an opportunity to fill Stephanie and Alex in on Sarah’s theory about Xander – though she pushed them to keep that theory to themselves.

Despite the clues, Maggie just didn’t think Xander would jeopardize his life with Sarah after everything they’d been through.

Once they were alone, Alex was eager to pick up where he left off with Stephanie, but she decided it was good that Maggie interrupted.

Stephanie wanted to take things one step at a time, so she hinted about looking forward to their next date and let Alex walk her out.

Days of Our Lives spoilers say Alex and Stephanie will continue down a sizzling path, so stay tuned to DOOL!
