Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Monday, October 17, reveals that caveman Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) lost it on Nicole Walker-Hernandez (Arianne Zucker) while Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) volunteered for an experimental injection. Here’s how all the Days drama went down.
Outside the pub on Monday’s DOOL episode, Nicole talked about how she wanted to be there for Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) and offered to visit Marlena with him. Once Nicole hugged Eric, Rafe came around the corner to witness it.
After Rafe offered updates on the serum delivery, Eric took off for the hospital.
Rafe and Nicole stayed behind, so that led to Rafe taking a jab about always finding Nicole in Eric’s arms.
The tension got worse as Rafe suggested Nicole rushed into marrying him to avoid pining for Eric.
Rafe also said Nicole never even asked how he felt about her working with her ex-husband – and then he made it clear that he didn’t approve.
Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) came around the corner and saw that a fight was in progress, so she hid out of sight.
Nicole wondered when Rafe turned into such a caveman and tried to convince him of her love, but he ultimately walked away over their trust issues.
At Kristen DiMera’s (Stacy Haiduk) place, Chloe suggested a truce was the best thing for Rachel Black (Finley Rose Slater), but Kristen obviously wasn’t interested.
Kristen denied putting the note against Chloe in Rachel’s lunchbox, but she confessed to wanting her rival out of the picture.
Kristen also wanted answers about what happened with the custody judge, so Chloe admitted to handing over the video of the letter opener attack.
Chloe also gloated about how Brady knew and was thrilled over the help.
Although Brady shut down Chloe’s breakup idea, Kristen said maybe he just wanted to dump her himself.
After Kristen hinted that Chloe should be at the hospital, she muttered about how Chloe’s bad day was just beginning.
At the hospital, Brady convinced John Black (Drake Hogestyn) that the serum might be the real deal, so John agreed he was right and didn’t smash it.
Jada seemed curious about Brady’s defense of the serum, but he acted like it was just their best option.
Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder) sent the bottle to the lab for ASAP testing and quickly found out it was nearly a match for the cure that saved Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) 25 years ago.
Marlena volunteered to be the guinea pig and later confirmed to Rex that she was sure, so he moved forward with the injection Monday’s Days episode.
Once Chloe showed up to support Brady, he got a phone call and stepped away.
Brady wondered what Kristen wanted, so she talked about how Brady would have to keep his end of the bargain soon.
That meant Brady would have to break up with Chloe and reunite with Kristen, so he wasn’t looking forward to his part of the deal!
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Kristen will keep tightening her grip on Brady as this DOOL storyline heats up.
