Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Monday, October 17, tease that Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder) will test the cure on Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) while Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) rages over Nicole Walker-Hernandez (Arianne Zucker) and Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan). Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) will also make a plea to Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk), so here’s what DOOL fans can expect.
At the hospital, Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) will convince John Black (Drake Hogestyn) that he can’t destroy the serum that was delivered to the Salem PD.
Although Brady will know Kristen is behind this cure, he’ll leave that part out and just act like they have to explore every possible option.
Days spoilers say Rex will take the serum to the lab and run some tests.
Once Rex feels confident this cure is close to the one from decades ago, he’ll move forward with administering a dose to Marlena.
That’ll leave Marlena hopeful for a chance at survival, so she’ll wait to see if her condition improves.
John and all Marlena’s loved ones will face a waiting game too, but they’ll keep their fingers crossed that Marlena will pull through.
In the meantime, Chloe will make a desperate plea to Kristen.
Since Rachel Black (Finley Rose Slater) is acting out and Marlena has been in bad shape, Chloe will suggest Kristen’s attitude isn’t helping anyone.
Days spoilers say Chloe will push for a truce and hope they can stay out of each other’s way.
This will be Chloe’s attempt to dial down all the tension and clear a better path forward in her romance with Brady.
However, Kristen will simply toy with Chloe and continue to stir the pot. That’s because Kristen will know she’s got the upper hand and will feel certain Brady will keep his promise to dump Chloe soon.
Brady will share a kiss with Chloe later, so Kristen will witness it at the hospital.
Although Kristen won’t be happy about it, she may tell herself it’s a goodbye smooch and trust that her Brady reunion is still coming.
Next, Nicole will comfort Eric once again, so she’ll likely get caught in another close moment with him. Rafe has tried to be understanding, but he’ll start to get fed up due to his growing jealousy.
Since Rafe will have such a problem with Nicole and Eric’s lingering bond, he’ll cause a big fight in his marriage.
Nicole will clash with Rafe and remind him that she’s committed, but he’ll still feel like she’s slipping away.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Eric and Nicole’s connection will continue to create issues, so stick with DOOL.
