Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Monday, October 24, reveals that Dr. Rolf’s (Richard Wharton) injection altered Gabi Hernandez’s (Camila Banus) memory while Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) had a Miami surprise for Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin).
At the hospital on Monday’s Days episode, John Black (Drake Hogestyn) informed Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) that she was being released.
Marlena also got updates on Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) dumping Chloe and worried about the threat Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) posed, but John didn’t think Kristen held any more power over his son.
At the townhouse, Chloe was shocked to learn Brady was letting Kristen move in – especially considering her history with John and Marlena.
Brady kept acting like this was the only solution for Rachel Black (Finley Rose Slater), but Chloe didn’t think she even knew Brady anymore and stormed out.
Once they were alone, Brady told Kristen that spending so much time around Rachel could backfire.
Although Brady didn’t think Kristen could keep up this maternal illusion, Kristen warned him not to question her relationship with her daughter and insisted she was in charge here.
Later, Marlena and John were stunned to find Kristen making herself at home. While Kristen was off preparing their first family dinner, John pushed Brady for an explanation.
Outside Chloe’s hotel suite, Stefan knocked on her door and didn’t get an answer.
When Stefan started to walk away, Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) appeared and hoped he wasn’t giving up on Chloe that easily.
Li mentioned something about Chloe being with Brady, so Stefan pointed out that they broke up.
That was good news as far as Li was concerned, so he gave Stefan another nudge in Chloe’s direction.
Although Stefan seemed a bit suspicious, Li reminded Stefan that he now claimed that Gabi disgusted him.
Stefan remained confused about why his feelings changed, but Li tried to keep him focused on Chloe.
Next on Monday’s DOOL episode, Chloe returned and found Stefan outside her hotel room.
Stefan wanted to support heartbroken Chloe, who wished she could just get out of town.
That gave Stefan an idea, so he gathered up a few things and decided to recreate Miami like he once did with Chloe at Doug’s Place.
After Stefan turned Chloe’s hotel suite into a tropical paradise and made margaritas, Chloe was grateful for the sweet gesture.
In Dr. Rolf’s lab on Monday’s Days episode, Gabi barged in and demanded answers about what he did to Stefan.
Once Gabi began smashing test tubes from the box Dr. Rolf packed, she eventually held a scalpel to his throat.
Dr. Rolf revealed that Stefan had Jake DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) heart and that he brainwashed Stefan for Kristen.
However, Dr. Rolf pointed out that it was Li’s idea and that Li knew Stefan was on ice long before that.
Gabi wanted Dr. Rolf to undo the brainwashing, so Dr. Rolf claimed there was an antidote and pulled a syringe out of the box.
Soon after, Dr. Rolf caught Gabi by surprise by giving her an injection, which caused her to pass out.
In the town square, Li bumped into Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) and asked him to be his best man since it’d mean a lot to Gabi.
Once Rafe mentioned Gabi was confronting Dr. Rolf in his lab, Li grew nervous and wanted to rush over there.
Suddenly, Gabi appeared and admitted she’d spoken to Dr. Rolf.
After zoning out for a moment, Gabi said Dr. Rolf claimed he didn’t do anything to Stefan and that she honestly believed him – though she didn’t know why.
While Rafe accepted Li’s best man offer, Dr. Rolf was busy patting himself on the back over the serum since Gabi wouldn’t remember a thing.
