Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Monday, October 3, teases that Sarah Cook (Linsey Godfrey) will rip into Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) while Jennifer Deveraux (Cady McClain) decides she needs rehab. Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) will also deal with some desires that are bubbling up, so here’s what Days fans can look forward to.
Since Jennifer is really struggling, she’ll feel like she needs rehab to get back on track.
Dr. Mike Horton (Roark Critchlow) will agree to come get Jennifer and escort her to her new program, so he’ll be on his way to Salem soon.
In the meantime, Jennifer will give Chad updates on her rehab decision.
Chad will understand how difficult the loss of Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) has been, but he’ll hope that maybe the storm clouds are lifting for all of them.
Later, Chad will help Stephanie with a new project she’s working on.
It looks like Chad will have a knack for spinning things, so this could lead to Stephanie offering him a job on her PR team.
DOOL’s weekly preview video also shows a kiss between Chad and Stephanie, but that might be a dream sequence under the circumstances.
Despite Abigail telling Chad he should move on, it’d be out of character for him to pounce on Stephanie when he was just grieving.
Nevertheless, Chad and Stephanie will indeed get closer, so they could be inching toward a romance.
Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) won’t be happy about that, but he’ll have to turn his attention back to a brother battle soon enough.
Days spoilers say Will Horton (Chandler Massey) will land in the middle of Alex and Sonny Kiriakis’ (Zach Tinker) conflict.
Since Will won’t like seeing this sibling rivalry, he’ll do everything in his power to push for peace.
While Sonny and Alex try to patch things up, Jennifer will reel over a memory that rushes back.
It’ll dawn on Jennifer that she was the one who mowed down Gwen outside the police station.
Speaking of Gwen, she’ll face Sarah’s wrath at the hospital.
Gwen will contemplate who’d have a motive to run her down and might offer Sarah’s name as a possibility.
However, Sarah was apparently with Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) at the time of the hit-and-run.
Xander stopped by the hospital to join Sarah on her break, so they were both there to watch Gwen get wheeled in.
That said, part of Sarah may wish she could’ve run Gwen down herself!
Although Sarah would never actually do that, she’ll still end up seething over Gwen’s previous misdeeds.
Gwen kept her mouth shut while Sarah was stuck on that island – and more recently, Gwen put on the Sarah mask and hoped to make it look like she was the one who stabbed Abigail.
After Sarah lashes out over all the pain Gwen’s caused her, Gwen should be apologetic.
We’ll also see Gwen get a visit from Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart), who’ll help Gwen remember that Jennifer was the one behind the hit-and-run.
Although Gwen won’t want to cause any more drama for Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford), Leo will see a blackmail opportunity and will demand money from Gwen’s dad on her behalf.
Naturally, Leo may want Jack to buy his own silence as well!
