Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Nancy Wesley (Patrika Darbo) may date Clyde Weston (James Read) fresh out of prison. Will this become the next bad boyfriend crisis for Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) to contend with?
There have already been some Days hints about Nancy ending up in a dangerous romance.
Bonnie Lockhart (Judi Evans) tried to play matchmaker for Nancy and TR Coates (William Christian) before Nancy’s makeover, but TR didn’t seem interested.
Of course, TR would much rather get back together with Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) if possible.
TR is also covering up his role in Eli Grant’s (Lamon Archey) shooting, so his DOOL storyline has become too dramatic for Nancy and Bonnie’s comedy hour.
Clyde, on the other hand, would be the perfect fit for a story that’s got a comedic side.
Clyde is also going to need a love interest once he’s out on parole – and as luck would have it, Nancy is ready to reenter the dating pool with a hot new look.
During the week of March 28-April 1, Days spoilers say Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) will make the surprising decision to hire Clyde.
Whether Clyde is a busboy, a bartender or something else, there should be plenty of chances for him to cross paths with Nancy at the pub.
That’s definitely become a frequent hangout for Nancy lately.
Clyde doesn’t have a lot of romantic options in Salem since everyone knows his reputation and hates his guts. He may see the potential for a clean slate with Nancy.
However, Nancy has been through some serious romantic turmoil in recent months.
After Craig Wesley (Kevin Spirtas) admitted to cheating and revealed he was gay, his marriage to Nancy was blown apart.
Nancy really needs to be careful with her heart right now, but she’s vulnerable and may enjoy the attention Clyde’s willing to offer.
It could be awfully easy for Nancy to get swept off her feet.
If so, Chloe may find herself with yet another parent dating a problematic boyfriend.
Chloe’s already been hoping to split up Craig and Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart), but splitting up Nancy and Clyde could become the next goal!
