Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for the next two weeks, September 5 to September 16, tease that Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) and Sarah Horton’s (Linsey Godfrey) honeymoon bubble will burst while Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) sees Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash). Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) will also have his worst nightmare once he drifts off to sleep, so let’s discuss what’s ahead.
During the week of September 5-9, Jennifer Deveraux (Cady McClain) will get caught using Doug Williams’ (Bill Hayes) prescription to get high.
Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) will think she’s helped Jennifer get back on track, but it’ll just be an act on Jenn’s part.
While Jennifer slips back down the path of addiction, Sonny Kiriakis’ (Zach Tinker) loved ones will face total terror at the hospital.
There’ll be some fears about Sonny’s condition, but Will Horton (Chandler Massey) will eventually get good news along with Sonny’s family.
Once Sonny is on the mend and resting comfortably, Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) will pay him a visit.
Days spoilers say Leo will dress up as a woman in a nurse’s uniform and push for Sonny’s help.
Leo will deliver a heartfelt plea and convince Sonny that maybe he really wasn’t responsible.
Deep down, it’ll be tough for Sonny to believe Leo killed Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) or went after him with a knife.
Sonny won’t rat Leo out during his visit, but Leo will still have to work on proving his innocence.
On a lighter note, Xander will marry Sarah at last and look forward to this new chapter.
Over with Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols), he’ll get in trouble with Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu).
Since Steve didn’t call the cops during all that Orpheus (George DelHoyo) bomb drama, Jada may rip into him for that.
Speaking of Orpheus, he’ll stop by Dr. Wilhelm Rolf’s (Richard Wharton) lab for help with the next phase of his mission.
Facing Kristen DiMera’s (Stacy Haiduk) intense pressure, Dr. Rolf will also wake Stefan up again and hope for the best.
While Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) proposes to Gabi and convinces her to be his wife, Ava will have a wild encounter in the crypt.
That could put Stefan in Ava’s path once again.
During the week of September 12-16, Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) will strengthen his bond with Ava and help her scheme against EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel).
As for Rafe, he’ll have a horrible nightmare about Nicole Walker Hernandez (Arianne Zucker) and Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan).
Nicole and Eric had some passionate dreams of their own recently, but now it’s probably Rafe’s turn to dream he’s being cheated on.
Days spoilers say Rafe will inevitably wake up with even more concerns about Eric and Nicole’s connection.
Later, Nicole will have an intriguing offer for Eric to consider. No matter what that offer is, you can bet it’ll keep Eric in Nicole’s orbit.
Rafe certainly won’t approve, even if he doesn’t divulge his growing fears.
After Gabi finally sees Stefan in the flesh, she’ll understandably freak out.
Once Gabi gets over the shock, she’ll hope she’s getting a second chance with her true love.
Unfortunately, it looks like Stefan will push Gabi away and insist on pursuing Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin).
Li will feel blindsided when Stefan appears out of the lab without warning, so he’ll have some harsh words for Kristen.
As Kristen prepares for the custody battle, she’ll make a startling accusation regarding Brady Black (Eric Martsolf).
Will Kristen accuse Brady of being abusive in some way?
Kristen might concoct some story and threaten to use it in court if Brady doesn’t cooperate.
Although Kristen’s ultimate goal is being a family again with Brady and Rachel Black (Finley Rose Slater), she won’t mind playing dirty to get there.
Speaking of playing dirty, it looks like Orpheus will be the reason Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans), Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) and Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) all suddenly get sick.
There’ll be some mysterious illness that strikes all three women at the same time, so they may have been poisoned during their time in captivity.
Days spoilers say there’ll indeed be aftereffects from that kidnapping drama, so it all adds up to a poisoning and antidote situation.
Elsewhere, Xander and Sarah’s honeymoon will be over quickly.
DOOL fans can expect Sarah and Xander’s wedded bliss to get derailed fast, so a big obstacle is on the way.
Xander will be haunted by his past and wonder if he’s really good enough for someone like Sarah.
We’ll see Xander struggle since he’s always the kind of guy who gets pulled into shady messes.
Of course, it’s possible Sarah could get pregnant and inadvertently prompt these concerns, so that’s something to keep in mind.
There’s also a chance Xander will become a suspect in Leo Stark’s (Greg Rikaart) frame-up, so that could be another path to trouble.
The point is Xander and Sarah won’t exactly have smooth sailing despite their new marriage. As other DOOL details come in, we’ll offer more updates.
