Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) may make a secret recording and try to provoke Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) into confessing her Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) arrest setup. Will Nicole score takedown ammo and prove Ava is guilty?
Nicole has figured out that Ava must be the culprit – and Ava seems to know that Nicole knows!
Ava is quite pleased with herself and likes the idea of Nicole suffering alone while Rafe suffers behind bars.
From Ava’s perspective, it’s the perfect way to make Rafe and Nicole pay for their hot hookup at Basic Black.
Of course, Nicole and Rafe indeed deserved to pay for their betrayal, but the punishment should fit the crime.
Ava would’ve been entitled to blast both of them verbally. Some soapy slaps might’ve been appropriate under the circumstances, too.
However, Rafe obviously doesn’t deserve to land in prison for cheating on Ava. Sleeping with Nicole on the conference table isn’t a criminal offense!
Days spoilers reveal this is putting Rafe’s career and reputation in jeopardy.
Rafe didn’t plant evidence against those perps or try to take them down unfairly. He’s just paying the price because of Ava’s twisted desire for vengeance.
Now it’s up to Nicole to figure out how to clear Rafe’s name.
Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) can work some angles as well, but Nicole will definitely take the lead when Days returns during the week of February 21-25.
It looks like Rafe will be out on bail and will join Nicole for a fierce confrontation with Ava.
Tempers will flare and accusations will fly, so will Ava get riled up enough to admit what she’s done?
That might be what Nicole is hoping since she’ll take a big risk to help Rafe.
Perhaps that risk will involve secretly recording Ava’s confession – leaving no room for doubt about the frame job.
Nicole and Ava will probably end up in a physical brawl, especially if Ava realizes what she’s up to. It could lead to Ava trying to destroy the tape in the end.
Whatever the case, secret recordings are a soap stable when someone needs to prove a setup.
DOOL might take this route with Nicole and have her try to pry an admission out of vengeful Ava.
