Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Nicole Walker Hernandez (Arianne Zucker) may kick off a secret investigation and expose Jada Hunter’s (Elia Cantu) past to ruin Eric Brady’s (Greg Vaughan) new romance. Of course, things may not go according to plan!
The closer Eric gets to Jada, the more it’ll get under Nicole’s skin. It’s clear that Nicole isn’t over Eric, so it’s not really Jada’s fault that Nicole doesn’t like her.
Nicole would disapprove of anyone who found a spark with Eric.
The only person Nicole wants in Eric’s bed is herself – and that’s a problem since Nicole is married to Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering).
That’s also why Nicole will bend over backwards trying to explain her growing concerns.
Nicole already acted like Jada couldn’t be trusted, so it appears she’ll convey that once again to Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) during the week of August 29-September 2.
Once Nicole sees the potential for Eric and Jada to build a real relationship, DOOL spoilers say she’ll fly into panic mode and want to do something about it.
Nicole may assure Chloe that her desire to help Eric simply comes from caring about him as a friend.
Chloe obviously won’t buy that and will feel the need to give Nicole a stern warning.
Days spoilers say Chloe will worry that Nicole’s setting herself up for disaster.
From where Chloe’s standing, Nicole will be risking her marriage to Rafe as well as her friendship with Eric.
That’s especially true if Nicole goes overboard in her plan to protect Eric’s heart. Nicole doesn’t know much about Jada’s background and what kind of person she actually is.
Perhaps it’s time for Nicole to put her investigative skills to good use once again. It’d be easy for Nicole to dig into Jada’s history and try to uncover some dirt.
Maybe Nicole will hope there are some shady secrets that she can expose before Eric gets in too deep.
Nicole might hope for a big “gotcha” moment that’ll potentially send Jada packing!
Naturally, every Days character has a few skeletons in his or her closet, so Nicole might uncover some suspicious info.
Nicole could ultimately confront Jada with what she’s learned, but Jada seems like a good person at her core.
Anything Nicole might find out would probably be something Jada could explain away.
We know Jada has an ex-husband, so Nicole might start by looking into where that relationship went wrong – though Jada suggested they mostly grew apart.
There might be other people in Jada’s past that Nicole could investigate, but going down this path could enrage Eric if he catches on.
It’s none of Nicole’s business who Eric dates, and he certainly doesn’t want her targeting the new woman in his life.
