Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) will reveal suspicions in the Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) shooting investigation. He’ll help Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) with some fresh eyes on the case, so she should appreciate any insight he can offer.
Rafe will be grateful to get back to work as a free man and will put Ava Vitali’s (Tamara Braun) setup in the rearview mirror.
Once Rafe and Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) celebrate with a little romantic private time, DOOL spoilers say Rafe will focus on his job and do some investigating.
Of course, Rafe hasn’t been able to do any police work for a while thanks to Ava’s framing efforts.
It should be nice for Rafe to get back down to business and reclaim his role as the police commissioner.
Rafe may even feel like he has something to prove now. He might want to redeem himself despite the fact that accusations were completely bogus.
Rafe may still feel the need to restore his reputation, and the quickest way to do that is by taking down a significant attempted murderer.
However, Days spoilers state that the case will also be personal for Rafe.
Rafe considers Eli to be a close friend – not to mention Eli is a detective with the Salem PD.
Rafe certainly won’t want the person who shot Eli to get away with it and may assure Lani that they’re going to catch this baddie.
Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) should continue to be part of the investigation, but he’s got a lot going on now with Belle Brady (Martha Madison) and all the possession mayhem.
Fortunately, Days spoilers say Rafe and others can build on what Shawn’s found so far.
During the week of March 28 to April 1, Rafe will give Lani his perspective.
They’ll both have questions regarding certain aspects of the case and may start to suspect that Frank (Michael Varde) the drug dealer was set up to take the fall.
If so, that could put Lani and Rafe a step closer to the truth, which is that Lani’s own biological father pulled the trigger.
TR Coates (William Christian) will hope to build on his bond with Lani, but any progress he makes will inevitably be destroyed once the truth is exposed.
