Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) may reunite with Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) after her recovery. Will Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) and Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) end up jealous as their exes reconnect?
DOOL viewers know Sarah has regressed to childhood, so she obviously doesn’t remember anything about her engagement to Xander.
However, Sarah remembered her childhood crush on Eric. In fact, Sarah wouldn’t shut up about it!
Sarah talked about wanting to marry Eric one day and have his baby.
Sarah even labeled her coloring book bride with “Me” and put Eric’s name above the groom’s head.
What’s with Sarah’s sudden emphasis on Eric – just in time for Eric’s return to Days? It doesn’t feel like a coincidence under the circumstances.
Although Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) will count on the Florida clinic to help Sarah, that treatment may not be necessary once Gwen Rizczech’s (Emily O’Brien) serum switch is exposed.
Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (William Utay) insisted the antidote would work, so maybe Sarah can finally get the right stuff and start making her recovery.
Of course, Sarah has had yet another dose of the mind-altering drug at this point.
Sarah has severe brain damage, so there’s no guarantee Sarah will recover immediately or perfectly.
What if Sarah transforms back into an adult and still wants Eric instead of Xander? Sarah could revert to the time of her life when she was with Eric.
There could still be some memory issues going on if Sarah’s mind takes her back before her Xander engagement.
On the other hand, maybe Sarah’s Eric crush will simply carry over somehow.
In other words, Sarah could become a grown woman in her own mind again, but that childhood crush could seep through.
Regardless, there was way too much focus on Sarah and Eric, so it has to mean something. Is an Eric and Sarah reunion coming up on Days?
Xander will certainly be jealous if that happens – and Nicole might be jealous as well despite her relationship with Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering)!
