Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) may undergo hypnosis, so Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) could fight to bring Sarah’s real memories and love for Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) to the surface. It’d be worth a shot once Sarah is back in Salem and in obvious need of help.
During the week of February 28-March 4, Days spoilers say Sarah will be rescued along with the other island captives.
That’ll bring Sarah’s return to Salem soon after.
Of course, Sarah isn’t really Sarah anymore since she believes she’s Renee DuMonde (Philece Sampler).
Sarah has no idea who Xander is and certainly doesn’t love him.
DOOL fans know it’s Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) who “Renee” wants, but Tony is already with Anna DiMera (Leann Hunley) and hopefully wouldn’t take advantage of Sarah’s mental illness anyway.
As for Xander, his engagement with Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) will only last as long as she can keep her secrets.
Gwen knew Sarah was being held hostage on that deserted island and said nothing – not to mention she played a huge role in shipping Abigail off to hide the truth.
In other words, Xander and Gwen’s relationship is a ticking time bomb.
It’s just a matter of when it’ll explode and send Xander running back in Sarah’s direction.
Regardless, Xander will want Sarah to recall her old life – and not just for his sake.
Sarah also needs to remember Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) and get their mother-daughter bond back on track.
Xander will surely support the idea of Marlena hypnotizing Sarah and might even approach her about the idea.
Hypnosis has been used as a common strategy to summon memories on Days before.
This is tricky since Renee’s memories have replaced Sarah’s due to the diary she read, but maybe hypnosis will allow the right ones to break through.
It’d at least be worth a try to see what happens.
Getting Sarah to agree might be the hard part since she seems quite content to believe she’s “Renee.”
Sarah may not want to remember her old self, but Xander, Maggie and Marlena could all work to convince her hypnosis is the best option.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say “Renee” will need a path to becoming Sarah again, so a hypnosis session could be a nice start.
