Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Sarah Horton’s (Linsey Godfrey) final memory twist will be revealed, so there’ll be one last antidote obstacle that blocks Xander Cook’s (Paul Telfer) romantic future.
DOOL fans know it’s been a long and winding road to even get this far!
Poor Sarah was stuck on that remote island with Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) after her first mind-altering drug dose.
By the time Sarah returned to Salem, she believed she was Renee DuMonde (Philece Sampler) due to the diary she’d read.
The next twist came after Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) switched the syringes – leading Anna DiMera (Leann Hunley) to inadvertently give Sarah another mind-altering drug dose that left her thinking she was a little girl.
Now that Gwen’s secrets have been exposed, Xander finally has the real antidote that could save Sarah and get her back to normal.
During the week of May 9-13, Days spoilers say Xander will convince Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) to approve Sarah’s injection after she falls into a catatonic-like state.
There’ll be nothing left to lose, so Maggie will give the green light and hope Dr. Rolf’s cure pays off.
However, there’ll be yet another twist in this DOOL storyline.
Sarah will ultimately wake up and remember Xander, so that’s great news.
Days spoilers say Sarah will even plant a kiss, which will give Xander even more of a reason to be hopeful.
Unfortunately, Sarah will mention something else that leaves Xander concerned.
Xander will find himself feeling like he needs to hide the truth, so Sarah’s memory may revert to before she found out about the baby switch.
In other words, Sarah might believe Mackenzie “Mickey” Horton is still alive and not have a clue that Xander swapped her dead baby for Rachel Black (Finley Rose Slater), who’s now much older.
That would explain Xander’s need to protect Sarah from this devastating info.
Xander wouldn’t want to cause a setback – not to mention the baby swap shocker would leave Sarah furious with him all over again.
Nevertheless, Xander can’t hide the real story forever and will have to come clean to Sarah at some point.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Xander and Sarah’s future is still bright, but it’ll take a little more work to get there!
