Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) is facing an identity crisis and currently believes she’s Renee DuMonde (Philece Sampler). An old diary and Sarah’s drug delusions are to blame for this transformation, which will bring a blast-from-the-past Days character back to life – at least in a way.
DOOL fans know Sarah got into a struggle with Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) before she was whisked off to the remote island.
That led to Sarah getting jabbed with a syringe, which contained the same drug that once caused Abigail DiMera’s (Marci Miller) delusions.
It turns out Sarah’s mental health was affected as well, but her delusions brought a major twist.
To pass the time and help Sarah cope, Kristen offered up the late Renee DuMonde’s old diary.
Sarah indeed read it, but the drug messed with her mind and made her feel like she actually lived Renee’s life.
Somewhere along the way, Days spoilers say Sarah forgot her old self and has essentially transformed into Renee.
Sarah will tell Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) her life story during the week of February 21-25, so they’ll both be floored by “Renee” and her claims.
If you’re not familiar with the character, Renee DuMonde was around back in the early 80s.
Renee was completely infatuated with Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) for much of her run – and she was definitely jealous of his later marriage to Anna DiMera (Leann Hunley).
Of course, it’s easy to see where this is going! The unnamed man Sarah has been trying to get back to isn’t Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) at all.
“Renee” has been missing Tony and considers him the love of her life.
That’s going to set the stage for all kinds of comical confusion and will no doubt pull Tony as well as Anna into a great story.
“Renee” will inevitably clash with Anna and insist Tony should be with her instead, but Sarah has to get off that island first.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say this Renee shocker will bring some serious excitement, so stay tuned to DOOL!
