Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) will score some wild hypnosis clues, so Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) will help play detective to find Abigail DiMera’s (Marci Miller) killer. Here’s what DOOL fans can expect as this murder mystery heats up.
Sarah is currently a person of interest in Abigail’s murder investigation, so part of her is worried she might actually be guilty.
Since Sarah has been suffering from hallucinations and has become violent when they happen, she can’t completely rule out the possibility.
Nevertheless, Sarah is holding out hope that she didn’t stab Abigail to death in her own bedroom.
During the week of August 1-5, Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) will try to help Sarah learn more about the night of Abigail’s demise.
Of course, Days spoilers suggest Marlena will hypnotize Sarah just like she hypnotized Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo).
It’s a great way to uncover any memories or trauma that might be buried under the surface.
However, it looks like Sarah will recall some confusing puzzle pieces once Marlena puts her under.
Although Sarah will indeed recall some crucial things about that night, the clues won’t make much sense in the beginning.
Sarah will have questions about what she’s remembered and will need Xander’s help to sort through the facts of the case.
Once Sarah spills the new details, Xander will help her play detective and try to follow the real killer’s trail.
That doesn’t mean Xander and Sarah will settle on the right culprit at first, but they’ll give it their best shot!
The Salem PD tends to botch investigations like this, so it’s good that Sarah and Xander will take matters into their own hands.
Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) still needs to land on the hot seat for his secrets regarding the night Abigail died.
The same goes for Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien), but it’s doubtful either one is guilty based on the hints Days has offered so far.
The truth should be a lot more complicated, which is why Sarah’s hypnosis clues are so important.
They could be the key to unlocking the real story and putting the actual killer behind bars down the road.
