Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) may find some disturbing Evan Frears aka Christian Maddox (Brock Kelly) evidence and discover Jan Spears’ (Heather Lindell) baby takeover. Let’s talk about DOOL’s tricky kidnapping situation.
Although Shawn wasn’t the true father of Jan’s son, he still loves that little boy like his own flesh and blood.
Shawn formed a bond with Shawn Christian Brady, who was ultimately renamed Maddox Frears once Evan claimed him.
Of course, Jan put her prison self-defense classes to good use by kicking Evan off the docks and into the water below.
Now “Shawn Christian” is back in Jan’s arms once again, but Days spoilers suggest it’s going to take some time for Shawn to figure that out.
Shawn learned Evan would be heading to New Zealand with the baby, so it won’t raise any flags when Evan’s gone initially.
However, trouble could come if Zoey Burge (Alyshia Ochse) eventually gets in touch with Shawn after Evan doesn’t show up.
Zoey cares about her baby nephew and will grow concerned if Evan drops off the map with him.
Evan planned to work on a houseboat and stay in Chicago until he could earn enough money to travel the rest of the way, but Zoey isn’t going to wait forever.
Since Zoey has custody of David Ridgeway (Kyler Ends), she’ll inevitably want to know where his baby brother is.
That could bring an unsettling phone call for Shawn down the road.
Naturally, it’s also possible Evan’s body will be found if Jan managed to kill him.
We’d say it’d be a waste to kill Evan off like this, so the better option might be if some Evan clues were found instead.
Evan might’ve dropped some form of identification that could help Shawn grow suspicious. Days could still leave the door open for Evan to pop back up later.
One way or another, Shawn may realize that Evan has pulled a vanishing act.
That should leave Shawn worried about the baby’s well-being and could perhaps lead to the conclusion that Jan must have him.
Shawn could investigate and find some Jan clues too since we know she was a stowaway on that yacht for a while.
Maybe Evan himself could even show up at Shawn’s door begging for help at some point.
If there was ever a reason for Shawn and Evan to put their differences aside, it’d be to stop Jan’s latest reign of terror and find the baby.
