Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Shawn Brady’s (Brandon Beemer) paternity test results will bring a heartbreaking goodbye as Evan Frears aka Christian Maddox (Brock Kelly) takes over daddy duty. Let’s talk about what DOOL has in store for Shawn, Evan and Belle Brady (Martha Madison).
Shawn worried he wouldn’t be able to bond with Jan Spears’ (Heather Lindell) child due to the difficult circumstances, but that changed after he met little Shawn Christian Brady.
Suddenly, Shawn was left thinking “that’s my boy” – though he’s about to find out that’s not true.
During the week of August 1-5, Days spoilers say the paternity test results will be in for Shawn Christian.
Of course, Shawn already had a DNA test done, but that one doesn’t count since Orpheus (George DelHoyo) tampered with it.
However, Shawn can’t be sure of anything when it comes to twisted Orpheus and his equally devious son.
Plus, Shawn won’t want to believe that the baby he’s come to love as his own could possibly belong to another father.
There was a time when Shawn would’ve welcomed the news that he wasn’t the daddy, but that time has passed.
Now Shawn’s on the verge of opening up these paternity test results, seeing he’s not a match and facing devastation.
Days spoilers say Shawn will eventually have to surrender Shawn Christian, so that’ll bring an emotional farewell and an opportunity for Belle to help him pick up the pieces.
There’s a chance Shawn will lash out at Belle initially and act like she got what she wanted.
Shawn will be in a lot of pain, so he may blow up at Belle without really meaning to.
Although there might be part of Belle that’s relieved, she’d never want Shawn to be crushed like this.
Belle understands that Shawn has developed a connection with this baby boy and may argue that she’d take away his suffering if she could.
It’s easy to imagine Shawn apologizing and crumbling in Belle’s arms eventually.
Shawn will be in a dark place once he’s forced to give up Shawn Christian, but Belle will offer comfort as they try to move forward.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Evan will plan to tackle fatherhood, but we can only imagine how horribly that’ll go!
