Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) will likely demand EJ DiMera’s (Dan Feuerriegel) arrest for Tripp Johnson’s (Lucas Adams) kidnapping. It looks like Steve will send Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) and Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) to lock the devious DiMera up, so let’s talk about what’s ahead on DOOL.
EJ paid the ultimate price for gambling with Susan Banks’ (Stacy Haiduk) safety since he lost his beloved mom, but that doesn’t mean he should get away with his actions.
Tripp was held hostage at gunpoint, so Steve will probably demand justice despite EJ’s time of mourning.
Since Tripp has also been grieving the loss of Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun), Steve and Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) stayed in Seattle to spend Thanksgiving with him.
Now that the holiday’s over, Steve will soon be back in town – and that means he may resume his mission for justice.
During the week of December 12-16, Days spoilers say Ava will once again scheme against EJ since she’s secretly alive.
However, Ava may not be the only one looking for payback since Steve will turn to Jada and Rafe for assistance.
It sounds like Steve will return home from his trip and push the detective duo to investigate EJ.
That may be the help that Steve seeks, but proving EJ ordered Tripp’s kidnapping could be tough.
EJ had a rather incompetent associate babysitting hostage Tripp, but that associate may know better than to talk.
Ratting out EJ would probably result in the guy’s death, so he may clam up and make matters difficult.
Nevertheless, Rafe already feels like he isn’t getting the whole story when it comes to EJ and Ava’s out-of-control feud.
Once Steve points the finger at EJ for kidnapping Tripp, Days spoilers say it should click the remaining puzzle pieces into place for Rafe.
It could also convince Rafe to pursue this angle pretty hard and try to take EJ down.
That’s especially true since Rafe won’t be happy about Nicole Walker’s (Arianna Zucker) DiMera mansion move-in.
It’s none of Rafe’s business what Nicole does anymore, but that won’t stop him from disapproving of her new living arrangements – even if he doesn’t come right out and say it’s a bad idea.
Regardless, Rafe and EJ’s newfound peace may go right out the window. With Jada backing him up, Rafe may seek evidence to get EJ arrested.
That doesn’t mean Rafe and Jada will be successful, but it seems they’ll at least try.
Of course, Ava will have move forward with her own revenge thanks to a bomb she’s set to plant at Susan’s memorial!
