In the November 28 episode, EJ was stunned when Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) showed up near the crash site.
Although Ava ultimately disappeared again, her survival gave EJ hope that perhaps Susan survived, too.
Ava claimed she made sure Susan died in the explosion, but why should we believe her?
Since Ava wants EJ to suffer, she wouldn’t want him thinking Susan made it out alive.
Even if Ava genuinely believes Susan perished, that doesn’t mean she knows for a fact.
There’s no way Susan is staying dead, especially since Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) had that weird “Marbie” moment.
Susan gave Marlena a doll of herself that took a tumble off the mantel.
Maybe it was symbolic of Susan jumping out of the car – much like Ava did before it burst into flames.
Regardless, Days spoilers say EJ will get a surprise visitor during the week of December 5-9.
Someone unexpected will show up on EJ’s doorstep, so what’s with all the secrecy?
Normally, DOOL spoilers would just name the person visiting unless there was a good reason to keep it under wraps.
Since this is a mystery visitor, it potentially points to Susan returning from the dead already.
Susan may reenter the picture and face pressure to reveal who Ava’s accomplice was.
Since Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) spared Susan in the end, she may be tempted to keep his secret and avoid dragging him into more trouble.
Whatever the case, EJ is headed down a messy path that’ll bring even more complications soon.
It’s clear that EJ needs Susan if he’s going to get his life back on track.
Susan might even resurface following a premonition and offer a warning about more danger to come!
Ava is apparently still out there somewhere, so she’ll remain a threat – and that could lead to another round of bad news.
