Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Thursday, April 28, reveals that Andre DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) threatened to kill Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) over a failed deal while Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) remembered the devil in Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman). Let’s talk about how all the DOOL drama played out.
At home on Thursday’s Days episode, Belle Brady (Martha Madison) admitted she was planning to move her stuff back in and work things out with Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) – but not anymore!
Belle couldn’t believe Shawn moved Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) in their house without even talking to her about it.
After Belle stormed out, Jan urged Shawn to give his wife some space and asked for a couple kinds of pie to cure her pregnancy cravings.
At the DiMera mansion, EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) couldn’t reach Johnny by phone – and DiMera Enterprises’ security team wasn’t helpful either.
Next, Susan showed up after having a premonition that Johnny was in danger and tried to convince EJ it was true.
Susan didn’t believe Johnny wrote the Italy farewell note and picked up vibrations that pointed to Andre writing it instead.
EJ thought that was impossible since Andre was dead and thought Susan could use some rest.
Once Susan was up in Johnny’s bedroom, she pulled out her grandson’s red suit and remembered confronting him while he was wearing it.
Susan got on the bed and held the suit, which ultimately caused a vision of her faceoff with possessed Johnny.
That left Susan alarmed as she realized the devil had been in control.
Once Belle waltzed in and poured herself a drink, she offered updates on Shawn moving Jan in.
EJ understood Belle’s frustration, but he also got why Shawn was being protective of his child. After EJ hinted about Johnny, Belle realized he was worried about his son.
In the crypt on Thursday’s Days episode, Ben was bummed to learn undead Andre was visiting them, not Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis).
Since Ben said he’d do anything for his freedom, Andre offered to let him out if he’d kill Johnny.
Ben was given a necktie and moved to put it around Johnny’s neck, but he ultimately couldn’t do it since he wasn’t a killer anymore and loved Ciara.
Andre turned menacing as he suggested he’d have to kill Ben for being so useless.
Ciara was at her apartment when Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) stopped by and learned Ben was missing.
Ciara got Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) to start looking into the case early and worried Ben could be lying in a ditch somewhere!
Ciara wanted a distraction, so Jake revealed that he came by to share his strange Johnny dreams.
Jake thought maybe they were right about Johnny being possessed, but he couldn’t really make sense of the situation.
After Ciara realized Ben might be with Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) in a therapy session, she took off for the hospital.
Jake agreed to stay behind at the apartment in case Ben came back.
In the prison visiting area, Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) kept pushing Evan Frears (Brock Kelly) not to worry about how she’d pull everything off.
Allie clarified that she was breaking Evan out and reminded him of when he tried to make Ciara believe Ben was dead.
After Allie alluded to her plan to pull off a more convincing effort, Evan still seemed skeptical of how they’d do all this.
Evan was also curious about who Allie was and her motives.
Possessed Allie eventually cut the lights, so Evan wondered “what the hell” was going on.
Allie thought Evan was getting the idea as she let her eyes glow and spoke with a deeper voice.
Later, Evan showed up at the apartment and told Jake that he was a friend of Ciara’s.
Jake then realized Evan was the guy who held Ciara captive and wondered how Evan got out of prison.
After Evan mentioned his new friend, Allie knocked Jake out and thought they might as well use him as part of the plan now.
When Ciara came back, she was stunned to find Evan next to lifeless “Ben” aka transformed Jake on the floor.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Ciara will struggle through more difficulties thanks to all Allie’s scheming, so stick with DOOL.
