Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Thursday, April 7, reveals that Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) followed some footprints in her Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) investigation – and Clyde Weston (James Read) scored a party invite. Here’s how all Thursday’s DOOL drama played out.
At the DiMera mansion, Abigail was surprised to see EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) out of prison now that his conviction had been overturned.
EJ got updates on Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) being MIA and heard about some of the drama he’d been causing, so he was eager to speak with his son.
In the DiMera crypt, Johnny woke up confused in his restraints.
When Allie walked in with glowing eyes and a deeper-than-usual voice, Johnny realized she was possessed and wondered how this was possible since they drove the devil out.
The devil insisted that he chose to leave Marlena Evans’ (Deidre Hall) body and then went into Johnny’s.
Johnny found out how he publicly dumped Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) and drove her into bed with Allie.
Johnny also found out he spilled the secret to blow up Allie and Tripp Johnson’s (Lucas Adams) engagement.
Johnny was horrified over the things he had no memory of doing, but possessed Allie was delighted over the heartbreak.
The devil explained how he ended up in Allie’s body before acknowledging that Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara Brady Weston’s (Victoria Konefal) baby was still the priority.
Since Chanel was in the way again, Allie took off to deal with her – leaving Johnny concerned over what might happen next.
Meanwhile, Chanel checked in with Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) as they realized Allie texted them conflicting information.
They worried since Allie was missing, but Chanel decided to see if Allie had gone to see Johnny at the DiMera mansion.
Once Chanel arrived, she found Abigail and heard about her slightly off interaction with Allie.
After Chanel left, Abigail hoped Allie was OK and thought back to when she found the side door open.
Abigail looked outside and saw some footprints, so she followed them to the DiMera crypt and looked ready to go inside.
After Chanel reconvened with Nicole, she agreed to stay with Henry Horton (Nash and Clyde Gunderson) while Nicole filled Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) in on Allie’s vanishing act.
Once Nicole was gone, Allie finally showed up to see Chanel.
At home, Belle Brady (Martha Madison) crossed paths with Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) before he took off to demand a paternity test from Jan Spears (Heather Lindell).
At Statesville, Jan balked at the idea of putting her unborn child in jeopardy with an unnecessary procedure.
Shawn insisted it wouldn’t be invasive – just blood drawn for her and a cheek swab for him.
Since Shawn had arranged everything with the prison infirmary, Jan agreed and said she had nothing to hide.
Back at the house on Thursday’s Days episode, EJ visited Belle and found her flustered.
Belle was pleased over EJ’s freedom, but she came clean about the baby situation and why she was struggling.
Although Belle understood that Shawn had been violated, she was upset about him sleeping with her nemesis and lying about it for months.
EJ could relate and later gave Belle a comforting hug right as Shawn appeared.
Once EJ took off, Shawn explained that Jan agreed to take the paternity test.
Belle and Shawn bickered until a call came in about the lab results, which confirmed Jan was having Shawn’s baby.
Next on Thursday’s Days episode, Clyde made Ciara breakfast and tried to convince her that he was a changed man.
Clyde fished to find out whether Ciara’s baby was a boy or girl, so Ciara explained the concept of a gender reveal party and how they’d find out through the cake.
Clyde initially thought the idea was rather stupid, but he was always up for a good party and basically invited himself.
Ciara seemed uneasy at first, but she caved in on letting Clyde come to the bash at her grandparents’ house.
After Ciara left, EJ showed up at the door.
Although Clyde tried to slam it again, EJ held it open and let his rival know they had some unfinished business.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Ben will get tangled up in Clyde and EJ’s faceoff soon, so stick with DOOL.
