Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Thursday, August 18, tease that Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) will help injured Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) while Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) and Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty) have a showdown. EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) will also score some Ava DiMera (Tamara Braun) leverage, so let’s talk about what’s ahead on DOOL.
At the hospital, Kayla will patch Chad up and question him about how he got that huge gash on his hand. Chad may admit he was angry enough to break a glass just by gripping it.
Kayla will certainly understand why Chad’s got so much rage inside him, but she’ll try to steer him down a healthier path.
Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) wouldn’t want Chad to be consumed by this much fury, especially if he’s going to hurt himself.
Perhaps Kayla will urge Chad to focus on what’s really important – and that’s his children.
Kayla may think Chad should let the cops worry about getting justice for Abigail while he concentrates on being there for Thomas DiMera (Cary Christopher) and Charlotte DiMera (Autumn Gendron).
Other Days spoilers say Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) will quiz Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) about her unexpected return home.
Steve thought an intruder had broken in, but it was just Stephanie – and she’ll no doubt have a surprising reason for her return to Salem.
At the Salem PD, Leo will blame Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) for killing Abigail and try to wiggle out of his latest jam.
Sloan will fight hard as Leo’s attorney – and that means clashing with Rafe over what she’ll view as flimsy evidence.
Meanwhile, Ava will continue to bond with Johnny, which will ultimately add to her tension with EJ.
The fact that Ava and Johnny are getting so close will definitely get under EJ’s skin.
Days spoilers say EJ will remain determined to score dirt on Ava, so he’ll listen up when Gwen pays her another visit.
EJ should overhear enough to know Ava helped Gwen escape from Statesville – or at least he’ll be able to bluff.
That’ll leave EJ in a powerful position, so he’ll eventually corner Ava and demand that she sign over Jake DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) shares or risk exposure.
