Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Thursday, August 4, tease that Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) will create a drunken display while Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) has an invitation for Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan). Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) and Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) will also work on a new theory, so let’s talk about what’s ahead on DOOL.
At the pub, Chad will try to drown his sorrows, but it looks like Eric will ultimately have to cut him off.
Since all Chad wants to do right now is numb his pain, he could get a bit riled up if he’s denied more drinks.
Chad will remain deeply distraught over Abigail DiMera’s (Marci Miller) murder and the gaping hole this loss left in his heart.
We’ll see Chad gaze at Abigail’s picture on his phone and struggle to figure out how to move forward without her.
Fortunately, Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker) will come along to collect Chad and offer more comfort during this difficult time.
Days spoilers say Sonny will save Chad from going completely off the rails and try to get him to sober up.
Meanwhile, Paulina Price-Carver (Jackée Harry) will have a chat with Eric and fish for info about Nicole Walker Hernandez (Arianne Zucker).
It sounds like Paulina will want to know if Eric is still in love with his ex-wife, but Eric may argue that it doesn’t matter since Nicole has a new husband.
Nicole is happily married to Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) and that’s that – at least as far as Eric is concerned.
The truth is Nicole would clearly be happier with Eric instead, but “Ericole” fans will have to be patient when it comes to their reunion.
For now, Days spoilers say Eric will focus on the future, so he’ll be intrigued when Jada asks him out on a date.
Although Eric will be taken aback, he’ll also be quite flattered.
At some point, Eric’s going to agree to this invitation and will end up heading out to dinner with Jada soon.
You can bet Nicole will be jealous once this date plays out during the week of August 8-12.
Until then, Xander will barge in the police station again and yell about the Salem PD’s incompetence.
Since Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder) gave Sarah an alibi for the night of Abigail’s murder, Xander will remain convinced that Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) is lying.
However, Rafe and Jada may argue that Lucas was awfully convincing.
It’ll bring a mystery for Xander to sort out since Sarah wasn’t at the mansion, but Lucas remembers her being there.
Once Xander and Sarah put their heads together, they may assume Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) is up to her old mask tricks.
Gwen indeed still has the Sarah mask, but proving she was at the crime scene won’t be easy!
