Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Thursday, December 8 Recap – Nicole’s Tearful Goodbye – Eric Visits Sloan’s Apartment

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Thursday, December 8, reveals that Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) said a tearful goodbye before Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) visited Sloan Petersen’s (Jessica Serfaty) apartment. Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) also made a fatal vow, here’s how all the Days action played out.

When Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) returned home on Thursday’s DOOL episode, she looked unsettled to find Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) and Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) in a warm embrace.

Chanel explained how she was comforting Johnny over Susan Banks’ (Stacy Haiduk) death and was upset that Allie hadn’t told her.

However, Allie insisted she didn’t want to pile on considering everything Chanel was already dealing with.

Chanel admitted it was a lot to handle and offered updates on Abe Carver’s (James Reynolds) pressure to step down as mayor.

Later, Chanel suggested they had to find a way to deal with Sloan and questioned why Johnny had stopped by to see Wendy Shin (Victoria Grace).

Johnny acted like he just wanted to check in and see how things were going at DiMera Enterprises, but Allie smirked a bit like she knew better.

At the Hernandez house, Wendy arrived after being summoned by Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus), who talked about the death of her sister and how she missed that bond.

Gabi wanted to get to know Wendy better and become like real sisters in time.

As part of that plan, Gabi asked Wendy to be her maid of honor.

The guilt hit hard for Wendy, who nearly confessed the Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) brainwashing truth before backing out at the last second.

Instead, Wendy claimed she was busy at work and feared she’d let Gabi down on this maid of honor task.

Gabi insisted the only way Wendy could let her down would be if she refused, so Wendy agreed to take on the role.

At DiMera Enterprises, Stefan confronted Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) about Wendy flying to Jakarta in a company jet and hacking the logs so that it looked like the plane was being serviced.

Since Li signed off on the expenses for the trip, Stefan assumed he was in the loop.

Li admitted to finding out after the trip and signing off, but he acted like there was nothing else he could do since Johnny was the boss’ son and had wanted to impress Wendy.

Stefan eventually mentioned that he’d be in Miami with Chloe Lane (Nadia Borlin) on New Year’s Eve, so they had sent their regrets on the RSVP card.

Li pretended to know about the invitation, but he questioned Gabi about it later.

Gabi claimed she just wanted Stefan and everyone else to see how happy she was to marry a great guy like Li.

Although Gabi was clearly bothered by Stefan rejecting the invite, she tried not to let it show.

After Gabi mentioned convincing Wendy to be her maid of honor, she admitted Li’s sister seemed weirdly uneasy about it.

Gabi thought Wendy appeared to be hiding something, but Li suggested Gabi just didn’t know her very well.

When Johnny found Wendy in the hallway at DiMera Enterprises, she explained how she nearly blurted out the secret to Gabi.

Stefan spotted the two of them together, so he warned that Jakarta trip would be Wendy and Johnny’s last jaunt for a while.

Once Stefan pointed out that nothing gets by him, he sauntered off. Johnny and Wendy couldn’t help but feel like this secret was getting harder to keep by the second.

At the DiMera mansion on Thursday’s Days episode, EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) used God’s name in vain to express surprise and was scolded by Sister Mary Moira Banks (Stacy Haiduk) – though she insisted it was AUNT Sister Mary Moira to EJ!

Sister Mary Moira wanted answers about Susan’s death and assumed EJ had been busy chasing girls, money or both.

EJ denied that and was apologetic for not filling Sister Mary Moira in on the details until now.

Sister Mary Moira was also upset to learn no memorial had been planned for her dear sister yet, so EJ decided she was right and started making plans to honor Susan’s memory.

Afterward, Sister Mary Moira found Susan’s old room and assumed there’d been a mistake since she smelled ghastly perfume that her sister would never wear.

EJ confirmed he was letting a friend stay there, so Sister Mary Moira thought it was proof that he was chasing girls after all.

Nevertheless, EJ assured Sister Mary Moira that his houseguest was truly a friend and nothing more.

Back downstairs, Ava snuck in and saw the plans for Susan’s memorial service, so she decided EJ’s mother wouldn’t be the only one laid to rest that day.

In the town square, Sloan told Nicole that from what she gathered, Nicole was responsible for Jada Hunter (Elia Canut) aborting Eric’s baby.

After Sloan gave Eric her card so they could settle her legal bill later, she pointed out her home address was on it.

Once Sloan sashayed away, Nicole ripped into Eric for acting like she killed Jada’s baby when the abortion was Jada’s choice.

Eric also insulted Nicole over her decision to go home with EJ, but she pointed out she had nowhere else to go and thought EJ was a saint right now compared to Eric.

Nicole was sick of being blamed for things she didn’t do and thought Eric was behaving like a silly wounded schoolboy.

Eric suggested it was a good thing they never really started back up their relationship since it would’ve made it harder to part ways.

The conversation eventually took a softer turn as Nicole and Eric accepted that a split was always inevitable.

Eric said he’d be seeing Nicole around, so she choked out a goodbye through her tears.

Once Nicole was alone, she thought back to when she thought she had a chance with Eric – before that phone call about Jada being in the hospital changed everything.

Nicole cried on a bench while Eric surprised Sloan by showing up at her apartment so fast.

Eric suggested there was nothing left to say to Nicole, so Sloan invited him inside.

Days of Our Lives spoilers say Eric and Sloan are on the verge of a sizzling romance, so stay tuned.
