Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Thursday, January 27 Recap – Craig Refuses Boyfriend Breakup – Paulina Rejects TR’s Dinner Invite

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Thursday, January 27, reveals that Craig Wesley (Kevin Spirtas) refused a boyfriend breakup while Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) rejected TR Coates’ (William Christian) dinner invite. Here’s how all the DOOL drama played out.

First on Thursday’s Days episode, Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) confronted Craig after he got off the phone. She thought that sounded pretty hot and angrily wondered about the “baby” her father was missing.

Chloe got Craig to admit he was indeed cheating on Nancy Wesley (Patrika Darbo), but he eventually blurted out it was with a man.

Craig confessed to having amazing chemistry with this guy and acknowledged his attraction to men. He cried as he suggested that if that made him gay, he was gay.

Chloe realized Craig wasn’t willing to break things off with the new man in his life.

Craig said he was in love with him, so Chloe at least thought Nancy deserved the truth.

Inside the pub, Nancy did her best to play matchmaker for Brady Black (Eric Martsolf).

Nancy didn’t like the idea of Brady and Chloe being stuck in love limbo, so she decided she would remain in town with Craig until “Broe” was on the road to happily ever after.

Nancy suspected Craig and Chloe had gotten distracted by the hot chocolate cart outside since Craig could never resist temptation.

Nancy grew concerned since Chloe didn’t take her own coat when she went outside to give Craig his jacket.

Nancy interrupted Craig and Chloe’s tense discussion, so Chloe gave her dad a nudge to come clean.

Before Craig had the chance, Nancy announced that they were staying in Salem.

In the town square, Paulina flipped out over “Ray” being in Salem – though he pointed out that he went by TR now.

Paulina didn’t care what alias TR used and assumed that he stalked her there, but TR insisted he was in Salem on business.

After TR explained he was a movie producer, he mentioned working with Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman).

Paulina ranted about Johnny breaking her daughter’s heart, so TR was surprised over the news that she had a daughter.

However, Paulina argued that she had Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) with George many years after her split from TR.

Paulina acted like Chanel was her only child before admitting her husband passed away.

TR knew Paulina might never forgive his past mistakes, but he wanted to at least show her he was a changed man.

TR hoped to take Paulina out to dinner and remind her of how happy they were in the beginning, but she wanted nothing to do with her abusive ex.

At Lani Price-Grant’s (Sal Stowers) place, she had a visit with Abe Carver (James Reynolds), who acknowledged his earlier encounter with Paulina.

Abe felt like there would always be awkward tension since Paulina lied about him being Lani’s real father.

Lani didn’t like all that “real father” talk because Abe was the only father she needed.

Lani had no interest in meeting or finding out more about her cruel, controlling bio dad.

Later, Lani stumbled across Paulina warning TR away from her and wondered if everything was OK.

At the Hernandez house, Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) acted like Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) was such a good friend for checking in.

Nicole thought Ava should know better than anyone that Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) was innocent, so Ava wondered what she meant by that.

Nicole played it like Ava was the one who knew Rafe best, but Ava suggested Rafe didn’t have faith in her innocence before.

Ava expressed doubt about Rafe’s innocence now since the police commissioner wouldn’t have gotten arrested without solid evidence.

Ava chopped vegetables rather viciously as she talked about how the old Ava might’ve dealt with her insecurities.

Ava acted like the new-and-improved Ava would never resort to revenge, but Nicole clearly walked away thinking Ava was behind Rafe’s problems.

Once Ava was alone, she expressed hope that someone might chop off Rafe’s “unmentionables” at Statesville.

In the Salem PD interrogation room, Rafe confessed to Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) that he cheated on Ava with Nicole and perhaps provoked this vengeful setup.

Rafe got Shawn to agree to look into Ava’s criminal connections, but he wanted Shawn to be careful.

Next on Thursday’s Days episode, Abe named Shawn the acting police commissioner – though Shawn was clear about supporting Rafe’s return to power soon.

As for Nicole, she made her way to the police station and filled Rafe in on her visit with Ava, who was “guilty as hell.”

Days of Our Lives spoilers say Ava will keep scheming, but her downfall should be brewing eventually.
