Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Thursday, January 6, tease that Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) will get some stunning news while some Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) and Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) party plans get underway. Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) will also get a huge Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) clue that helps with the search for Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey), so let’s discuss what’s next.
First on Thursday’s DOOL episode, Johnny will stop by Marlena and John Black’s (Drake Hogestyn) townhouse with updates on his new marriage.
That’ll come as quite a shock to John and Marlena, but they’re sure to be happy as long as Johnny’s happy.
Marlena may realize Johnny wasn’t able to deliver the news until now due to all the exorcism drama and apologize for that.
Of course, Marlena might also mention the possession movie and how she greenlit that while under the devil’s control.
As a way to make amends, Marlena might honor the decision and give Johnny her true permission to make the flick.
That would certainly please the devil that now inhabits Johnny, though we should point out Johnny hasn’t been taken over entirely yet.
Johnny still has moments of confusion, but it’s only a matter of time before the devil fully possesses him if this keeps up.
For now, Johnny will hug Marlena and leave her in the dark on the sinister force that remains in Salem.
Other Days spoilers say Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) will have a wedding present for Chanel, who may feel like her mom’s done more than enough to prove her support.
Nevertheless, Paulina will want to do something to show just how much she’s rooting for Johnny and Chanel’s happily ever after.
After Paulina hands over a gift box, she’ll reveal a big plan she has in mind.
It looks like this ties in with a fun party to celebrate Chanel and Johnny’s new marriage. They didn’t get a reception since they got married on their own in Italy, so Paulina may argue this is the next best thing.
Days spoilers say Johnny and Chanel will indeed gather with friends and family members before the week’s over, but this bash won’t go as well as Paulina hoped!
In the meantime, EJ will wrap up his conversation at DiMera Enterprises, where Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) will continue to act like his brother is the guilty party.
In reality, it’s Chad who’s guilty of helping Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) set EJ up.
EJ may realize Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) is in on the secret now and explode over everyone being out to get him!
EJ must feel like nobody’s on his side at this point, but EJ’s luck will turn around down the road.
Across town, Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) and Jennifer Deveraux (Melissa Reeves) will say their last goodbyes and make this move to Boston official.
Jennifer and Jack will be back eventually, but Abigail will hold down the fort at The Spectator until then.
It turns out Abigail is a busy gal since she’s also taking on some investigative work.
Abigail’s particularly interested in helping Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) find Sarah, so she’ll get Xander to tell her everything he knows.
Xander will bring Abigail up to speed on his conversation with Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder), so that’ll bring a mention of Kristen wearing a mask and impersonating Kate.
Abigail will start to wonder if Kristen posed as Sarah using a mask as well, so this could be a massive break in the case.
That’s especially true if Xander mentions Kristen’s goal of plopping Kate on the DiMera-owned deserted island!
However, we know that Abigail and Xander won’t get any concrete answers just yet since this storyline has to keep moving along.
Xander’s going to propose to Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) in the coming weeks, so Sarah can’t be found before that happens.
