Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Thursday, July 21, tease that Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) will face a marriage decision while Governor Mitchell (Richard Bramhall) deals with a prison problem. Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) will also know best when it comes to her friends’ love lives, so she’ll offer some words of wisdom.
For starters, Shawn will be torn between the pain of Belle Brady’s (Martha Madison) betrayal and the love he still feels for her.
Although Belle was separated from Shawn when she slept with EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel), she still broke her marriage vows and made Shawn feel cast aside.
However, Chloe will play love doctor and hope she can push Shawn toward forgiveness.
Since Chloe and Belle belong together in Chloe’s eyes, she’ll fight hard to help them repair the damage.
While Shawn decides whether he’ll give Belle another chance, Abe Carver (James Reynolds) will face a decision as well.
After a chat with Governor Mitchell, Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) will be filled with new ideas regarding Abe’s own political career.
Abe will hear Paulina’s pitch and consider if he’s destined for more than just the mayor’s office.
Although Abe seems satisfied with where he’s at so far, Paulina will push him to dream bigger and bolder!
Next on Thursday’s DOOL episode, Days spoilers say Allie Horton’s (Lindsay Arnold) heart will break over the lip lock she just saw in the town square.
Allie was already upset to learn Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) hid the truth about Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) kidnapping Sami Brady (Allison Sweeney), so this is making a bad day even worse.
Although Allie probably thought she’d find Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) and lean on her for support, she found her kissing Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) instead.
There may be some awkwardness if Allie corners the kissers and wonders if this means Chanel picked Johnny.
Nevertheless, this Days love battle isn’t over yet, so look for Allie and Chanel to share an intense moment of their own soon.
Back with Governor Mitchell, he’ll have no choice but to meet with Orpheus (George DelHoyo).
Orpheus was able to access the Salem PD mainframe and now has some incriminating files – perhaps including some offenses that Governor Mitchell brushed under the rug.
Whatever the case, Orpheus will likely blackmail Governor Mitchell and create some prison drama.
Orpheus may demand a pardon for himself as well as Evan Frears aka Christian Maddox (Brock Kelly) before adding to the list.
Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) will cross paths with Evan and think it’s quite fortunate that they did.
Kristen, Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) and Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) are all on the verge of scoring freedom, so Kristen may work something out for the three of them, too.
