Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Thursday, May 12, teases that Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) will enjoy some passion before the heartbreak that’s brewing. Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) will also keep a secret while Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) decides her own fate.
At the DiMera mansion, Abigail will make it home and reflect on how grateful she is to have her family with Chad. For now, they’re all safe, happy and healthy.
That’s all Abigail can ask for, so she should feel pretty carefree as she makes love to Chad and celebrates their marriage being on solid ground.
It was a long road to get here, but Chad and Abigail are on the right track romantically again.
Despite the latest drama with Gwen and Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart), Abigail and Chad will feel like they’ve won all the battles.
Sadly, this blissful bubble is going to burst down the road.
Days spoilers say Abigail will become a gruesome murder victim this summer, so total devastation is looming for Chad and the kids.
In the meantime, Xander will feel like his dreams are coming true since Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) just called him by name.
Sarah indeed recalls being in love with Xander and will even lock lips with him on Thursday’s DOOL episode.
Unfortunately, trouble will strike when Sarah makes a request that Xander can’t grant.
It seems Sarah will want to hold her baby girl, which isn’t possible for several reasons.
Days fans know Mackenzie “Mickey” Horton died and was swapped for Rachel Black (Finley Rose Slater), who’s grown far beyond the baby stage and is back with Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) where she belongs.
Sarah apparently won’t remember any of that, so Xander will be in a tight spot when she asks for her child.
The truth is going to crush Xander and cause another major relationship setback, so he won’t be in any hurry to tell Sarah the real story.
Next, Anna DiMera (Leann Hunley) will weigh her options and determine that going on the run is better than landing at Statesville.
Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) won’t approve when he finds out Anna wants to make a break for it, so they’ll no doubt do some clashing.
However, this whole mess should be sorted out soon enough. Sarah has received the real antidote and is a lot better off than she was before, so she should make sure Anna gets off the hook.
Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) should agree it’s the right call under the circumstances.
After Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) pushes Justin Kiraikis (Wally Kurth) to represent Gwen, she’ll have an attorney and whatever legal tactics he offers.
Of course, Gwen also has a chance to escape if she lets Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) bust her out of lockup.
Will Gwen choose Jack’s legitimate path to justice or strike a shady deal with Ava?
Gwen will have to wrestle with her own fate and pick the option she finds most appealing under the circumstances.
