Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Thursday, September 1, tease that Orpheus’ (George DelHoyo) bomb will be set to blow while Sonny Kiriakis’ (Zach Tinker) attack looms. Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) will also beg Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) she’s innocent, so here’s what DOOL fans can expect.
For starters, Orpheus will send a little gift to Roman Brady (Josh Taylor), John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols).
Days spoilers say the guys will open a mysterious box – one that contains a tricky puzzle that must be solved within one hour.
If Steve, John and Roman can’t pull this off, then Orpheus will threaten to blow the beloved women in their lives to smithereens.
Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans), Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) and Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) all realize they’re in serious danger as Orpheus taunts them.
Orpheus will deliver instructions in a video message and wait for Roman, John and Steve to solve the puzzle he’s provided.
However, Orpheus could easily offer one that’s impossible to work out – at least within the allotted timeframe.
Regardless, John and the others may have to abandon the brainteaser and do things the old-fashioned way.
We know Steve and Roman will try to shut off the bomb, but their best bet may be just finding the hostages and getting them out of that warehouse ASAP.
Days spoilers say Kayla, Marlena and Kate will eventually get the dramatic rescue they’re waiting on.
The captives will be untied – perhaps just before the bomb explodes!
Next, Chad will pay Gwen a visit at the Salem PD.
That’ll give Gwen a chance to plead her case to Chad and beg him to believe she couldn’t possibly have murdered Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller).
As for Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart), he’ll be a free man thanks to his decision to throw Gwen under the bus and cut a deal.
Leo will make his way to Titan for a visit that’ll inevitably come back to haunt him soon enough.
Days spoilers say Sonny is on the verge of becoming Salem’s next stabbing victim.
Someone will put a knife through Sonny’s back before the week winds down, so that could be Thursday’s cliffhanger.
Whatever the case, Leo will end up hanging around another crime scene, so this certainly won’t go well for him.
In the meantime, Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) will ignore Sonny’s warnings and try to win Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) over.
Although Stephanie won’t be ready to open her heart to Alex yet, she’ll at least be able to tolerate him a bit more.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Alex will keep up his efforts to woo the woman of his dreams, so stay tuned!
