Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Thursday, September 1, teases that John Black (Drake Hogestyn), Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) will rescue the hostages while Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) makes a bad call. Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) will also cave at least a little when it comes to Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) and his pursuit, so let’s discuss what’s ahead.
At Titan, Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker) will bicker with Alex since Stephanie has made it clear that she’s not interested.
Stephanie just wants a professional work environment, so Sonny will push Alex to stop with all the pick-up lines and gifts.
However, Alex won’t stop turning on the charm and trying to get Stephanie to see him in a new light.
Although Stephanie won’t exactly do an about-face on Alex, she’ll surrender on some level and perhaps accept that they’re going to be seeing each other around the office.
Stephanie might even open the door to being polite coworkers – and that’s a door that Alex can use to his advantage.
Days spoilers say Alex will do his best to build on this progress and take his relationship with Stephanie in a romantic direction down the road.
In the meantime, Leo will strut into the Titan office and let Sonny know he’s a free man.
That’ll lead to conflict between Sonny and Leo as usual, but things are about to take a disturbing turn.
Although it’s doubtful Leo will do anything to harm Sonny, he’ll be with him just before an attack takes place.
Sonny will get stabbed within the next episode or two, so Leo’s going to face accusations regarding another act of violence.
Leo will soon realize it was a mistake to pay Sonny this visit, but he’ll just have to live with the consequences of his unlucky break.
Likewise, Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) is currently paying the price for her own bad decisions along with Leo’s unfair finger-pointing.
When Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) shows up to see Gwen in lockup, she’ll promise Chad that she didn’t kill Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller).
Chad will wonder why he should believe Gwen, but she may insist wouldn’t have taken it that far – especially since Abigail had young children.
While Gwen pleads with Chad to believe her side of the story, Orpheus (George DelHoyo) will have a package delivered to the pub.
That package will contain a puzzle that’s meant to be solved before a bomb goes off – and Orpheus will only allow an hour to figure it out.
After watching Orpheus’ video message, Days spoilers say Roman, Steve and John will all get to work on this puzzle.
Of course, Orpheus’ riddle might get ditched if the guys realize time is running out too fast.
One way or another, Steve and Roman will find the bomb that’s planted at the warehouse.
Roman will help Steve as they try to disable it, but they may ultimately have to bail on that plan, too.
Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans), Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) and Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) will all be stuck waiting on their heroes.
Fortunately, DOOL spoilers say Steve, John and Roman will eventually burst in for a rescue, but they may have to leave in a hurry if the bomb’s still about to go off.
Thursday’s episode may end with a bang and a mysterious knife to the back since one’s headed straight for Sonny in his office!
