Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Thursday, September 8, teases that Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) will have an urgent order for Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) while Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) and EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) face off. Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) and Ava DiMera’s (Tamara Braun) bond will also grow stronger, so here’s what DOOL fans can look forward to.
In the secret lab, Kristen will instruct Dr. Rolf to wake Stefan up again and see if his conditioning worked.
Dr. Rolf will try to stall Kristen since that’s what Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) wants, but Kristen can be awfully persuasive – especially when she’s dishing out sinister threats.
Whatever the case, Stefan is indeed on the verge of awakening – and he’ll indeed love Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) instead of Gabi based on upcoming Days spoilers.
Although Li would prefer to keep Stefan on ice longer, he should at least be pleased over the patient’s brainwashing paying off.
In the meantime, Gabi will clash with EJ since he realizes Ava’s marriage is a farce.
EJ doesn’t have hard evidence that Gabi and Ava cooked up this marriage charade together, so he’ll blast Gabi and try to pry the truth out of her.
EJ may also rip into Gabi for lying at the shareholders meeting and getting Johnny on her side.
Of course, Gabi may argue that EJ is the one who pushed Johnny too far and turned him against his own father.
Ava will deal with another round of EJ anger, but she’ll find relief in Johnny’s presence.
Johnny will continue to offer pep talks and hugs when Ava needs them most, so she’ll grow closer to him.
Days spoilers say Johnny’s feelings for Ava will grow stronger as well, so these two could be heading into tempting territory.
Look for Ava and Johnny to cook up a new scheme against EJ in the coming episodes.
Until then, Gabi will face quite a bombshell when Li asks her to marry him.
This engagement ring shocker will be happening awfully fast, but Li will plead his case and hope Gabi says yes.
Naturally, Li will be trying to lock in his own future with Gabi ahead of Stefan’s Salem return.
