Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) will attack Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) for revenge, so he’ll have an explosive response to an Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) scandal. Tripp’s return to Salem will bring some shocking moments, so let’s talk about what’s in store.
After Tripp makes it back from Seattle, he’ll certainly want to be there for Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) at the hospital.
Kayla will need her whole family to rally around her as she tries to survive Orpheus’ (George DelHoyo) deadly toxin, so Tripp will be part of her giant support group.
However, Tripp’s stepmom won’t be the only focus during this return stint.
Days spoilers say Tripp will also feel the need to step up for his mother, so it looks like Ava will be the reason he decks Johnny.
DOOL fans know that Johnny became quite enamored with Ava and landed in bed with her before she pumped the brakes.
Ava ultimately decided it wasn’t a good idea to sleep together, so Johnny accepted that they would just be friends.
Of course, that hasn’t stopped Johnny and Ava from letting EJ DiMera (Dan Fuerriegel) think there’s more going on between them.
Tripp may think there’s more going on as well, but he won’t approve of Johnny’s interest in Ava regardless.
The fact that Johnny was pursuing Ava will no doubt be gross and uncalled for as far as Tripp is concerned.
That’s especially true since Ava has been dealing with the loss of Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash).
Tripp may accuse Johnny of trying to pounce on Ava while she was vulnerable.
Since Tripp is such a protective guy when it comes to his family, Days spoilers say he’ll fly into a rage and throw a fierce punch.
Johnny will get whacked in the face and pay the price for getting too close to Tripp’s mom.
There’s no way Tripp will let Johnny get away with crossing the line with Ava, so he’ll let his fist do the talking when he attacks Johnny this fall.
It’ll be nice to have Tripp back in the mix, especially since Kayla will eventually get a lot sicker as the toxin plot worsens.
