Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) will save Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) from the devil, so he’ll risk his life to free his ex-fiancée. DOOL fans know Tripp has been on quite the emotional rollercoaster thanks to Allie.
Tripp was head over heels in love and thought Allie was completely committed to him – that is until Tripp found out Allie slept with Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) behind his back.
The fact that Allie got together with Chanel so fast after her failed engagement didn’t help matters.
Tripp was both crushed and furious, but now he’s just terrified of what Allie’s up against.
Despite Allie’s betrayal and how the aftermath was handled, Tripp still loves her and perhaps always will.
That’s why Tripp will put his own life on the line for Allie’s sake during the week of May 16-20.
Days spoilers say Tripp will step up in the battle against the devil and work to pull off a dramatic rescue.
Of course, there are going to be other key players involved since the devil isn’t an easy opponent to defeat.
Johnny DiMera’s (Carson Boatman) twin connection to Allie will also play a big part in trying to free her from the possession.
John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) will be heavily involved in the final chapter of this Days storyline as well.
Nevertheless, Tripp may take the lead at some point and be the one to truly free Allie from the devil’s grasp.
It could certainly stir up old feelings on both sides and leave the door open for a potential romantic reunion.
Allie and Tripp might be tempted to pick up where they left off once the devil’s gone for good – especially since Johnny is back to his old self and wants a happy marriage with Chanel.
However, more twists are brewing that’ll change the game romantically.
Despite this rescue and whatever spark it might reignite, Allie may realize she can’t give Tripp the true devotion he deserves.
There’s still a powerful connection between Allie and Chanel – one that’s probably going to be explored more sooner or later.
Days spoilers don’t point to Tripp and Allie living happily ever after, so Tripp’s rescue may be more about getting them back on good terms in the end.
Regardless, Tripp will put any past issues aside and do his part to get the devil out of Allie permanently.
