Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that TR Coates’ (William Christian) marriage proposal will stun Paulina Price (Jackée Harry). It’ll be TR’s next step to lock in his wife’s money – at least he’s hoping Paulina will be his wife if she says yes.
Of course, that’s a big if since Paulina clearly has some reservations about trusting TR again.
Paulina was a victim of TR’s cruel abuse, so it’s easy to see why she’s so wary.
DOOL fans can’t forget Paulina was terrified at the thought of TR even knowing his daughter existed.
That was the whole point of Paulina giving Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) to Tamara Price (Marilyn McCoo), who raised Lani as her own.
Now TR claims to be a changed man after all these years, but Days viewers know he hasn’t changed at all.
TR is still on drugs and as violent as ever – not to mention he shot and nearly killed Eli Grant (Lamon Archey).
This guy’s got some nerve to comfort Lani and make all these bold moves with Paulina after putting Eli in a coma.
It turns out another one of those bold moves is coming up during the week of May 2-6.
Although Paulina wanted to take things slow, TR is an impatient man. He’s after Paulina’s fortune, so he doesn’t want to wait around for her to be ready.
TR used to be able to sweep Paulina off her feet, so he’ll hope to do it once more.
Days spoilers say TR will pop the question and leave Paulina shocked by his offer of marriage.
TR will no doubt make another “heartfelt” speech about how he’s turned over a new leaf and will devote the rest of his life to treating Paulina right.
That obviously won’t be true, but TR will hope to tug at Paulina’s heartstrings and convince her to wed.
However, it turns out the day TR proposes will be significant for a different reason.
TR will ask Paulina to marry him on May 6 – and that’s the same day Eli will finally emerge from his coma.
We may see Paulina say yes to TR right as Eli comes back to Lani, but Eli’s awakening doesn’t mean he’ll remember all the shooting details right away.
It may be a situation where Eli’s brain is still pretty scrambled.
If that’s the case, TR and Paulina may have a chance to spread their engagement news while Eli struggles to remember his missing shooting memories.
Eli could become a ticking time bomb that’ll ultimately destroy TR’s chances with Paulina and put him back behind bars.
