Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Tuesday, April 12, teases that Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) revealed Ciara Brady Weston’s (Victoria Konefal) baby boy after a bloody cake gushes at the gender reveal party. Drunk Belle Brady (Martha Madison) was also a mess, so here’s how all the DOOL drama went down.
In Marlena Evans’ (Deidre Hall) office, Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) dropped by with a last-minute party invite and really hoped she could make it.
Marlena also got updates on Ben’s concerns about Clyde Weston (James Read) since Ben was uncertain about having his dad around the baby.
At the pub, Clyde wondered if he could catch a ride to the gender reveal bash with Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) and Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans).
Clyde did his best to play nice and show he was trying to stay on the right path.
At the Horton house on Tuesday’s Days episode, Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) brought Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) and Doug Williams (Bill Hayes) up to speed on Jan Spears’ (Heather Lindell) pregnancy.
Shawn explained how the devil made it happen and worried about his marriage in the aftermath, but Doug and Julie offered support.
When John realized Belle was stumbling drunk and slurring words in the middle of the day, he gave her the support she needed as well.
Belle was worried about how Jan’s baby would change things, but John knew Shawn and Belle’s love could prevail over evil.
After Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) admitted Allie had broken her heart this time, Paulina Price (Jackee Harry) was furious.
Paulina ranted about the evil twins since Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) broke Chanel’s heart first.
Paulina called for a taxi since she wanted to rip into Allie, but Chanel canceled it since she didn’t want her mom fighting her battles for her.
However, Chanel admitted to feeling like something was wrong with her since she’d been so unlucky in love.
Paulina assured Chanel that wasn’t the case and had hope for her romantic future.
Although Paulina knew she couldn’t blame the devil for Allie and Johnny’s behavior, she thought something evil was running through those genes!
Outside Ciara’s apartment, possessed Allie stopped herself from messing with the cross on the wall and just focused on her baby mission.
Ciara let Allie in and was surprised to hear about the breakup from Chanel.
Allie also admitted this was her last official delivery for the bakery. She looked at the $66.60 receipt before offering the cake on the house.
Ciara couldn’t get the baby to settle down, so Allie thought she should try since she’d been told she had a soothing voice.
Allie put her hand on Ciara’s baby bump and talked to her little one, which let to the somersaults ceasing.
Days fans saw Clyde, Roman, Kayla, Marlena, Shawn, Doug and Julie all gather for the gender reveal party.
Allie showed up carrying the cake and mentioned the guests of honor as Ben walked in with Ciara.
Marlena remained sorry for all the damage she caused while possessed, but Julie and Allie praised Marlena for how she handled the situation.
Allie talked about how she hadn’t spent enough time with Marlena lately and hugged her, so an unsuspecting Marlena thought her granddaughter was so sweet!
As Ben and Ciara geared up to cut the cake, Allie mentioned the delicious filling inside that was like liquified icing.
Julie assumed it was like a lava cake and seemed to think that sounded wonderful.
After Ciara and Ben cut the cake together, it creeped everyone out. Julie exclaimed over it dripping blood, but Allie tasted it and confirmed it was cherry filling.
Allie said this was clearly Chanel’s fault and suggested she must’ve grabbed the wrong tube.
Since Allie broke her heart and quit the bakery, she knew Chanel had been distracted.
Ben and Ciara didn’t want to wait for Allie to make a new cake, so she revealed what was in the sonogram envelope.
“We are having a boy,” Allie declared – though she quickly clarified that Ciara and Ben were the ones having the baby.
While the others celebrated the news, possessed Allie told herself that a boy was what she always wanted.
