Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Tuesday, April 5 Recap – Sarah Reverts to Childhood, Greets Mommy Maggie – Gwen to Blame

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Tuesday, April 5, reveals that Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) reverted to childhood and greeted Mommy Maggie Horton (Suzanne Rogers). Gwen Rizczech’s (Emily O’Brien) drug switch was to blame, so let’s discuss her scheme and some other DOOL shockers.

At the bistro on Tuesday’s Days episode, Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) invited herself to join Gwen at her table.

After they moved past some initial tension, Gwen and Gabi were actually able to commiserate.

Gabi heard about the antidote situation and pointed out that Gwen was potentially about to lose her love.

That was something Gabi could relate to since she’d already lost Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash).

Gwen was sorry about that and hoped that maybe Gabi could fight for her man, but Gabi worried since everything felt so final.

Meanwhile, Jake moved Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) into his apartment, where they bonded over trying to change for their love interests and how it didn’t work out.

Since there was only one bed, Jake insisted Ava should take it. He assured Ava he’d be fine on the floor until he could get an air mattress later.

After Jake emerged from the shower shirtless, he answered a knock at the door. It was Gabi, who looked stunned to see Ava in Jake’s bed behind him!

At the police station, Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) and Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) rehashed some of the devil’s dirty work.

Rafe thought it was a good thing Belle Brady (Martha Madison) showed up before anything really happened with transformed Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) on Christmas Eve.

When Shawn seemed uncomfortable, Rafe sought confirmation that he was right about nothing happening.

Shawn was saved from answering since Sarah showed up following the injection Anna DiMera (Leann Hunley) gave her.

Sarah demanded Anna’s arrest over the assault, so Anna was indeed handcuffed and taken into custody.

Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) was upset over Anna’s actions, but she insisted she was trying to help and argued that there’d be no need for a lawyer once Sarah got her memories back.

Tony hoped that was true on Tuesday’s Days episode – both for Sarah’s sake and for Anna’s.

Back with Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer), he learned from Maggie that the hospital was going to flush the drug out of Sarah’s system to be on the safe side.

Xander thought maybe they should see if it worked instead, but Maggie was reluctant to take the risk.

Gwen also had a flashback of sneaking in the lab and finding the syringe that was labeled for Sarah.

Gwen swapped it out with a spare dose of the mind-altering drug and put the Sarah Horton label on it.

Since Maggie figured Xander’s presence would only upset Xander, she sent him on his way and promised to offer updates.

Once Gwen heard the latest Sarah news from Xander, she felt it’d be best for the drug dose not to be flushed out.

At the hospital again on Tuesday’s Days episode, Sarah was in an exam room with Maggie when she suddenly dropped the Renee DuMonde (Philece Sampler) act.

Maggie wondered if Sarah knew who she was, so Sarah confirmed that she did and insisted that Maggie was her mommy.

It became obvious that the latest mind-altering drug dose had reverted Sarah back to a child-like state.

At Statesville, Jan worked to convince Belle that she was indeed pregnant and that the baby belonged to Shawn.

Although Jan felt they should all try to get along now that they’d be connected forever, Belle felt Shawn would be horrified if this was true and ran off to confront him.

Once Belle and Shawn met up at home, she informed him that pregnant Jan claimed he was the father of her baby.
